Now I feel like contributing to this Geno discussion.
Geno's only benefactor is his popularity. He is, essentially, in the same spot as any other RPG partner Mario has had as a character, except he isn't owned by Nintendo. That's the thing, too - with how Square Enix has used none of those Mario RPG assets, you'd think it'd be really easy for Nintendo to negotiate getting the rights back if they really wanted them. But they haven't, and Square Enix hasn't utilized them.
There's no way getting around the fact that he's an unused asset that couldn't even find his way into Mario Baseball. That's not a good sign for his future.
I mean, the strapping young Koopa in my avvy probably has a better chance of being playable than Geno.

IIRC Sega did the Mario remixes and vice versa.I saw @AreJay25 bring this song up a few pages back.
Why do they never include the Olympic remixes in Smash.
This works so well on the Galaxy stage.
Oh that new Olympics soundtrack has me so hyped.

Geno was bigger than her on the internet i am not saying she doesnt exist but she wasnt huge as Geno if we are comparing Geno in brawl days and Shantae in smash 4 days, but hey it wasnt only about smash, and as i said the internet is way bigger than the wiiu/wii owners. also you should remember that Geno has been here way before Shantae exist wich means the old generation knows about him
thats what am i saying, still being memorable and recongnizable even if people doesnt talk about as much they did in the past.
i have seen videos about Geno from European he is kinda recognizeble there but not as much as the other places, also there is another game called MLSSS that has released worldwide wich has Geno in it before VC, i know they didnt buy it because of Geno and its because its awesome and it was their chance to play it and discover it.Yeah just finished watching Death Battle, fights fine, still isn't accurate though. Also @Cutie Gwen your right that DK sprite is ugly.
I'm going let you know about something dude, most of Europe doesn't speak English, so Geno being well known on American sites that has users from Europe, still isn't going to change the fact Shantae is going to be recognised by Europeans, since she had her games released and translated into those languages, so more people will be more familiar with her, simply because they have her game in their language. Also when Europe found out about SMRPG, we didn't want it because of Geno, we wanted it because its Mario as RPG having been made by Squaresoft, who made Final Fantasy, that made a lot of see the game has being an awesome blend between Platformers and RPGs

The remixes are great. They come out sounding amazing in these games.
Hell even the actual Olympic songs sound good most of the time.

I love how you use 'was bigger than Shantae' instead of 'is bigger than Shantae'. Dude, what the **** are you typing? Use punctuation for once, not being English isn't an excuse for lack of punctuation. Shantae's fans are on the internet, and these days, she has more support than Geno. Just because Geno was about 8 years earlier doesn't mean that old gamers know him, especially as Europe didn't get Geno till SSS. The only memorable thing about Geno these days is how you constantly praise him and stitch your fingers in your ears. You clearly don't know what recognizable means if you're using one of many videos. Yes, Geno's cameo in which he told you how to play an optional minigame was SOOOOO similar to his role in SMRPG.

I really hope people try to make interesting, unique and fun to play levels (like the original games) and not just crazy, chaotic, nearly impossible to complete levels. The high skill stages will be cool, but that's never what the Super Mario Bros. series was about. I truly fear it will end up being a 'who can top this?' contest of utter madness.
That's a good question. I really hope they are. I'd be disappointed if Nintendo somehow neglected (or simply forgot!) to include this popular staple of the Mario series.

Close to that. Many of her normal attacks which normally need to be linked (tight timing) become chains and cancelable so she can almost combo anything. It may change juggle properties but cant remember.

I remember when he tweeted a bunch of his figures of nintendo characters fighting, one of them was Dark Pit.
Yeah I think E.Ryu is one of the last shotos they would add period. Hell, Akuma himself is a kind of a stretch for the initial 16 as it is.
