This is why I'd prefer for this the series to end on a (hopefully) high note with MGSV then put to rest.

I really doubt it. Not only would it give away newcomer announcements, but it could also lead to a lot of uh, angry people if they reveal the results and don't add in characters that were there.

Plus, if I'm not mistaken, isn't the ballot just a suggestion box than an actual poll?

Tekken has been pachinko slot-ed! Does that mean the Ip is dead? No. A lot of games get pachinko slot versions. I also saw Monster Hunter version too. Don't get me wrong, I know people want legit games, and they see these as cheap knockoffs. But a lot games have this happen to them.

Either way, **** Konami!

I kind of understand the rage. But as you are saying about Japan and the Pachinko machines, that's fine. What I don't get is that Konami didn't just keep this to Japan, as the machines you mentioned no one really knows about them because Sega and Capcom don't seem to post ads of their Pachinko machines online. Plus most of the outrage at the Pachinko machines for Konami seems to also be the fact that unlike Sega and Capcomn, they don't want to make games anymore. So for Sega and Capcom seems the Pachinko machines are side things and not the main business, unlike with Konami who haven't done anything with Castleviania lately and them activiily going out of there way to seem to Purge Silent Hills from existence.

Did Adam Sandler go and break these machines? Then no he didn't ruin them.

I believe the comic book writer Alan Moore once said to someone who asked him how he felt when a movie ruined his graphic novels, what he did was take him to his shelf and pointed at his creation and said, they are still there, they haven't been ruined.

Actually playing them reminded me just how much I suck at video games. I couldn't even get past the first level of Donkey Kong.

I did make it to the 4th maze in the original Pac-Man, though, so maybe I'm better than I think I am.

My favorite arcade game there was Mario Bros. I actually got the 4th highest score.

I doubt the results would be shown either, but i don't get why it says votes may be made public.
I also would say that it's just a suggestion box but I still think the top character will get in.

Pachinko is the next step for gaming! Soon all hardcore gamers will be playing pachinko and everyone will be making pachinko machines!:troll:

Though serious question, are there any pachinko machines in the US and Europe?
