Wow. If this is true, this could really lead into something remarkable. I really hope Konami sell their IPs and Nintendo buys some of them. Also Namco Bandai buying Metal Gear and taking Kojima in could be really cool. It could bring something unique to the table.

I believe this it actually makes sense and isn't out of the possiblity of being real.Plus if any company would handle metal gear right it would be namco and atleast this way it isn't console exculsive

Pachinkos don't require a huge budget like games do. So it's generally safer. Bayonetta, as niche as she is, does have a following, so doing a pachinko side thing for her would help reel in some money for Sega. Who knows, they could go for another Bayonetta someday. We're finally getting Shenmue 3 despite how badly both Shenmue games bombed.

I think Mega Man works best in 2D, not in 2.5D. Maybe 2.25D where the world is 3D but all characters bar big enemies are detailed sprites.

It depends how feasible the whole thing really is.

Wayforward may be able to pull it off well. Not totally sure about Rayman Origins/Legends though, their style of animation wouldn't fit at the very least.

But I would really like that.

To be absolutely honest, outside of Metal Gear Rising. I am perfectly content with MGS ending. I cannot think of what else they could squeeze into the games. Everything is pretty much filled at this point.
