Just a reminder: If you're in a situation where you have something that you think merits sharing and you were the last one to post in this thread, it should be a significant gap in time between the last post and the time you'll be posting again (my rule of thumb is at least a day) if you're going to double post rather than just editing. Since that's pretty much never going to happen with the activity level in this thread, it's a good rule of thumb to always edit your posts. Accidents happen, but there's no need to purposely post again to bring attention to new information, because with the level of activity in this thread, somebody's going to come back and see the information you wanted to share whether or not it's in a brand-new post, as opposed to a less active thread where the thread may die off with nobody seeing the information if you don't bump it to the top and show there's a new post there.

I'd probably say that it's likely just because ORAS were remakes, but then again, Game Freak has a history of implementing features that fans have asked for forever only to remove them in the very next game inexplicably. Like having your Pokemon follow you.

Assuming we get a third version (or two sequels again grumble grumble), we'll probably see character customization in that because it'll still be Kalos, but since apparently you can't customize characters unless the region is based on France, I feel like Game Freak will dump the feature after that.
