I could write a song about how much I don't like Teen Titans Go. I really, really wanted to like it, and I knew going in it wouldn't be anything like the original 2003 series (which is my favorite animated series of all-time), but this show is just bad.

Real talk, I never would've thought I get tagged in a first anniversary post lol.

I haven't watched too many episodes of Teen Titans Go, but I always was bothered by the mindset behind it. I don't mind a show going off and doing its own thing from the original, but if you're going to do that, do it well, and it doesn't seem Go really gets that. It wants to just be a generic kids show and nothing more, and it shows in its lack of depth, care and love for the characters and stories that they make and the original material they had. So even on its own two legs, it doesn't manage to be a strong show on its own merits.

So with that said, the fact that they not only ignored the criticisms that could help the show, but also completely insult the fans of the original in the process, they've shown that they quite clearly have no respect for their fans or those who want to see more out of it. It's a horrible move on their part and it's really sad when you have a show that refuses to grow and instead lashes out at others who 'don't get it.' Go could be more then what they're putting into it, and unfortunately, they don't seem to care to do so.
