You say you were joking, but why on Earth do you keep bringing this up every single chance you get to?@ Icedragonadam
Your avatar is a "Straight Outta" pic.
MODS!!! MODS, I SUMMON YOU!!!
I was only joking. Please don't kill me!
Because it happened? You say you were joking, but why on Earth do you keep bringing this up every single chance you get to?
A horrible death in the family, surviving an illness, surviving a mass murdering spree, love for someone, achieving a big personal goal.Because it happened?
I think we just found our joke book.
Jeez, I just brought it up again for a joke.A horrible death in the family, surviving an illness, surviving a mass murdering spree, love for someone, achieving a big personal goal.
Things you keep with you as they greatly affect you.
Being scolded on the internet for continually posting an unfunny meme?
Something you make like Elsa with.
The best thing about your post? It works for both me and him.Ironically posting an unfunny meme in response.
Honestly I do like the idea of being able to rebattle NPC trainers, its just the way they chose to implement it in Gen 2 and having to use the phone is just straight annoying, especially when I'm grinding and them calling just makes it take even longer.Thankfully you can just delete their phone number. Unlike HGSS where it's forever D:
Was this aimed towards me or Roger?Ironically posting an unfunny meme in response.
Yeah, if there is anything I'd change about GSC, is how you rematch trainers. The phone gimmick is neat on paper, but it could've been done better.Honestly I do like the idea of being able to rebattle NPC trainers, its just the way they chose to implement it in Gen 2 and having to use the phone is just straight annoying, especially when I'm grinding and them calling just makes it take even longer.
Also I really sad I missed the splatfast in Europe because of my stupid internet...
At least Team South Pole won, proofing that Penguins truly are the master race
It wasn't even me trying to start something. I was making a suggestion to him that he should move on from it. That's all.Drop it, both of you. Let's move on.
I think (just a theory) that he's afraid of thinning the line between competitive and casual Smash even more. Like okay, obviously an experienced player is more likely to win at a game of Smash, even with things like items and stage hazards. but when it comes to the fundementals of each character's attacks, the line is still much more "even" so to speak. Every character has specials, attacks, Smash Attacks, Shields and Dodging, etc.About Source Gaming's new article: I really don't understand why Sakurai regrets Melee so much. Yes, it's enjoyed by hardcore fighting game fans. Yes, the competitive scene is tough to get into. But...so what? It's still a great 4-way party game that anyone can easily pick up and enjoy. The fact that it's good at a competitive level shouldn't diminish that.
I think it's not only that, but because he created Melee the way he did, it allowed for this competitive mind set and group of fans to be created that wanted MORE from him. To the point that if you look at Brawl and SSB4 they're both plagued with a mindset of ''Yeah, but Melee..."I think (just a theory) that he's afraid of thinning the line between competitive and casual Smash even more. Bring in things like Wavedashing. A casual player won't know how the hell to do it, so that alone puts them at a severe disadvantage. I think that's what he's afraid of... Thinning that line even more, which frankly, Melee does to an extent.
That isn't to say I AGREE with that mind set at all, but that's my take on it.
I can't wait...http://smashboards.com/threads/rate...day-118-rundas-and-baby-mario.398604/page-232

I've been viewing this site for months and I never get tired of it.
You're using a meme incorrectly.Jeez, I just brought it up again for a joke.
How am I using it incorrectly? You're using a meme incorrectly.
Hand in your dank meme membership card.
The name is "conspiracy keanu"How am I using it incorrectly?
Seriously with some Pokemon games its 2 steps forward 5 steps back, in some of its design choices.Yeah, if there is anything I'd change about GSC, is how you rematch trainers. The phone gimmick is neat on paper, but it could've been done better.
VS Seeker was the best way to rebattle trainers and they took that away for god knows why.
Pretty much I'd agree with you here. But also I feel honestly Smash Bros was never meant to be a competitive fighting game like Street Fighter.I think it's not only that, but because he created Melee the way he did, it allowed for this competitive mind set and group of fans to be created that wanted MORE from him. To the point that if you look at Brawl and SSB4 they're both plagued with a mindset of ''Yeah, but Melee..."
And that's a hell of a power over the artistry of a creator. You feel as if you're letting down someone or if you're work no matter how good is never good enough.
Hahahahahahaha.I have you guys talked about this?
I just found it and it looks so fake. I just thought I'd bring it up since everyone wants more leaks and news.
>sees Armord Mewtwo smash C3 renderHave you guys talked about this?

WHAT THE ACTUAL ****ING **** IS THIS ****?http://gfaqssb.wikia.com/wiki/I_wish_Birdo_was_in_this_game_so_my_dad_could_dress_up_like_him
I regret my life choices deeply
My problem with this is that in practically any multiplayer game, some players are just going to be better than others. There's no way around it. You can't expect everyone to have the same level of skill. Even in something like Mario Kart, where items are almost always a factor, there are still people who will learn the ins and outs of the game to get better at it, and they'll likely end up winning the most. For Melee, Sakurai Didn't really intend for half of the ATs to be left in the game. Rushed programming is the cause of a lot of techs in Melee.
Everyone should read Winning and Losing. It describes Sakurai's views on competitive play perfectly and it's from Smash 64 era.
Basically Sakurai wants to make a game that everyone can play. Usually he simplifies a genre. Kirby - simple platformer. Kirby's Air Ride - simple racer. Smash - simple fighter.
This is represented in the control scheme (press B to special) and the lack of health bars. You could win without dealing the most damage. That's the key part to Smash. It's suppose to be a levelled playing field.
With the ATs in Melee it's not like that. There's a clearer divide on who's better and who's not.
Christ that looks like Trash but do expect Mario Bros to come back in some form. Also armored Mewtwo is from Smash 3Have you guys talked about this?

I get that. I'm merely just explaining what I believe the rational behind Smash is. It's suppose to be more "Mario Kart" than "F-Zero". Less pure skill and more fun. Not saying I agree 100% with what Sakurai thinks, but I believe it's important to understand the reasoning behind design choices. My problem with this is that in practically any multiplayer game, some players are just going to be better than others. Hold on, let me do a 3 hit combo:Wow. Two awful leaks in one day.
Things are finally looking normal again.
Yeah but I wish Sakurai can hit that sweetspot of between "Mario Kart" & "F-Zero" of all levels and Smash 4 is closer than any game since Melee but yet feels so far due to all the missing AT.I get that.
