I feel like Fates will be one of the best games of the series up there with Path of Radiance and while I know it'll be better than Awakening that doesn't mean it isn't my favorite. The music, characters (despite being shallow) and what it did for me will forever keep it my favorite.

It's like with Smash 4 and Melee.

I Know Melee is better but that doesn't mean that Smash 4 isn't my favorite.

Melee isn't better though. It's a flawed, unpatched, glitched game with characters that definitely have advantages. In terms of nostalgia only is it the ''better" game IMO.

Awakening is slightly better, but FE7...Blaze it Sword is outstanding. Plot feels kinda like FE1 tho

You gotta admit, that game is the easiest of the series. Easier than FE7 & FEA

I've played those three too, both paths in SS. My personal favorite is SS, with FE7 pretty close thereafter. I like Awakening too, but the plot was a bit too wacky for my taste.

lol yes it is. I had no one die in SS. Plenty characters fled in Awakening because Baby's First FE has to be played on Casual mode

Well I have to disagree, Ephraim path in SS is a way harder experience than I've ever had in Awakening, even on hard mode in that game.

I atleast have somewhat trouble with Awakening and kids don't make it special considering the only ones that matter is who is the offspring of and Morgan. Maybe Olivia! and Owain if Lon'qu is his father.

That's exactly what I said. That's only if Robin is the parent. The other units won't help any of the kids. Yarne and Kjelle are still **** because of their bad stats. Kids are just really mediocre units because they NEED Robin as their dad to go far and they'll still won't be close to Morgan.

What you're going by is that Awakening is easy to break which is true but that's due to Robin him/herself.
