@ DoodleDuck97 start with Metroid Fusion. That's what I did!

I rather prefer Zero Mission since it's the remake of the first game and has an extra part for the story.


Plus it introduces the mechanics and sense of exploration. Fusion is great to be introduced as the second game of the series to play.


Just remember, Play Super and Prime one LAST. I say that because those games are the best of the series and finish it with a bang

I know this isn't a completely accurate representation of the Smash poll, but I really have to wonder why Nintendo would go through the hassle of trying to add a new 3rd party character when the only one to make the list is owned by Miscrosoft and came in at number 7.

Japanese votes probably won't help in that regard either, as K. Rool and veteran character reign supreme over there and the third parties that get votes here (mostly indie characters and occasionally characters such as Bayonetta) don't have the same sort of support in ANY of the data I've seen.

It's for this reason why I don't see a new third-party happening for DLC. To be honest thought, I would not be surprised if we never got new third-party characters ever again given that it's all downhill from here and the characters I consider to be the cream of the crop of the ones not added yet (Bomberman and Slime) will probably never be playable.

Actually, Bomberman could if he were to ever become incredibly highly requested like Mega Man or Sonic. The problem is, he never will be since people are too pessimistic about supporting characters from dead franchises.

I haven't played a Metroid game.
I am so, so Tempted to start with FF.
But I am seriously debating the Prime trilogy.

You can get Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii U for $20 if you have a Wii U. Even if you don't have that, you can always pick Metroid Prime Trilogy for around $50 and still get it for cheaper than you would Federation Force if you think of Metroid Prime Trilogy as just below $20 per game (including tax). Super Metroid is also a really great way to start with Metroid if you have a Wii/Wii U as you can get it off the Virtual Console for only $8 (not including tax). For Metroid Prime: Federation Force, I'd suggest waiting until it reaches bargin bin prices so that if you are disappointed in it, it's less money wasted and you get more bang for your buck if you like it.

I have 3 questions:

Is King K. Rool the most requested newcomer in japan?

What place is isaac in the newest japenese polls?

How you would feel when dlc ends and wolf isnt in the game?

From what we know, yes. However, I am hoping to see more significant Japanese samples to see what has changed since the ballot has started.

I don't care about Wolf very much so I don't mind what happens to him. However, I will say that I will be extremely surprised and the only exclusion that would legitimately shock me.

The way the previous quote was written and the context, you were annoyed/mad/ragingly pissed off at Burb because he laughed off your dear character's chances by looking at an unofficial poll. So you write the quote as a criticism. But here's the thing. the link in Quote #3 links to a post WHERE YOU USE AN UNOFFICIAL POLL TO SAY THAT GENO IS "POPULAR".

As such, you make yourself a hypocrite by berating Burb for laughing at an unofficial poll unrepresentative of character chances while you bring up a poll unrepresentative of character chances to defend a point.

So, future advice, don't try and argue with others when your points can easily be turned against you.

I speak French ( i'm french ), Spanish , Polish , Hebrew and a little bit of Russian , my gf helped me with Italian , German and Japanease people ( they was a lot ) who was at the Japan Expo .

I agree. Unless Sskurai brings back Snake, there will be no more Third-Party characters. The First Party is what matters and K. Rool, Wolf and Issac are leading the pack along with Dixie and Inkling not far behind.

You know I always find it funny how some people on Smashboards can't understand that Daisy does actually appeal to a lot of people. Not mention there is actually a lot of crossover from Luigi and Peach's fanbases in Daisy's fanbase. There's actually quite a few who want all of the main Mario trio of Princesses to be in Smash. There's a lot of Mario sports games fans who would prefer her to be the sports rep then Waluigi. So getting a good decent number of people voting for her in polls in not in anyway unusual.

So I would say she's in the likely spot for DLC for Smash 4. Bearing in mind people likely is not as high as highly likely like King K Rool is. So it is possible Daisy could be DLC before King K Rool, is this going to happen? No probably not. Just saying its really funny how some people on Smashboards can't seem to understand Daisy does actually have a decent chance for DLC, its defiantly not as good as King K. Rool, Dixie, Issac and other really popular choices. But Daisy is a character who does have a lot of appeal to causal Smash fans, who don't do hardcore character speculation and the like.

I'm not sure to understand what you mean ... Mega man was always requested around the world since Brawl , were Rayman just gained a popularity boost from the Omni Leak . Surprisingly Rayman was not the most requested 3RD party newcomer during the Japan Expo in the poll i make the last week . The most requested 3RD party NewComer is ''Sora ( Kingdom Hearts)'' , but if not newcomer , Snake was the most requested 3rd party AND character at the Japan Expo .

I will post the poll right after i make the vote count into % and regroup some vote ( like Snake / Big Boss , Megaman Zero / Zero and maybe because their vote are low i will regroup some character from the same franshise and call it "somebody from x" )

It doesn't have anything to do with her chances.

It has to do with what she can bring to the table. I don't understand what people see in her as a character. What can she do that would set her apart? What makes her unique? Representing the sports genre isn't enough for me, especially when Peach already kind of does that. Waluigi was heavily requested for practically the same reason, and look where he ended up.

IIRC, RSM rose to fame as soon as the ballot started. I think there were a few minor cases of people acknowledging him before that, though.

Tell you the truth, I wouldn't mind seeing an enemy from the Subspace Emissary playable. Some of them are very unique in that they could have a very cool moveset.
