What are they currently doing?Level 5 on Treehouse now.
I dont think it was a single post, instead the poster is collecting a bunch of random "leaks".Apparently the direct has been leaked since a few months ago.

Until the number of "Mario slots" is increased, I see no reason to expect DLC after the two that we are presumably getting.Multiple things, for those interested:
....
Also, in response to @ PushDustIn -
I don't disagree with you that it's something we shouldn't be surprised with happening. It's just like how everyone for Brawl didn't like the idea of the 35-character roster leak, expected more and then was disappointed. I just personally don't see how they can just jump ship to the next one so quick, unless they port Smash 4 over to the NX. If the NX comes out in 2017, I don't expect a new Smash game until 2019, simply because Sm4sh simply needs a longer life than that. It's huge, in terms of content and hype. Brawl was released in 2008, but development for this game didn't start until 2012, with it's release in 2014. Brawl was out for 6 years before the next follow-up. Even a 2019 release is only 5 for Smash 4.
In my opinion, it makes complete sense to support it up until Q1 2016, because of what you mentioned about DLC development not starting until after release. Mewtwo and wave 1 of DLC weren't available until April, which is a full 5-6 months after the release of the game. They presumably worked on all of this content during that time, and it's obvious that they're still working on more. Someone else pointed out this earlier, but both of the other 64 stages that are coming look essentially completed. Sakurai announced that and the YouTube uploads and Tourney mode coming in August. It's a safe assumption that they likely already have almost everything they're releasing that month either planned, finished, or in development.
At the very least, I think we could get something every two months this year, which is how long it seems to take them to develop a character or two, which gives us August, October and December. If we look at the total development time of the game (~2 years) where they made 51 characters, and many single player modes, trophies, etc., and they've been developing the DLC for 6 months now(albeit with an unknown amount of decrease in the team size), I don't think it's unreasonable to expect more than 5 characters in the future.
Now that I'm thinking it all out, I think my most likely theory is that the remaining 2 of the 5 "Mario" slots will be part of another big DLC pack in August.
I guess what I'm saying is that I'm of the theory that the Smash game for the NX will be Sm4sh + DLC, and that they'll continue to make DLC because of that. If they decide to go with making a whole new game for the NX, then I agree, they'll stop supporting this game with post-launch content this year. I could see one final big DLC pack as a wave 3 in August, then minimalist "packs" in October and December based off the ballot.
Last I checked, Not-Custom Robo. What are they currently doing?
Make a Final Fantasy V remake and I will buy a PS4 the second it's announcedhttp://venturebeat.com/2015/06/17/n...asy-remakes-but-not-from-the-playstation-era/

There's just not much to talk about any more, E3's about done now.Boy. This thread is dead.
Not really a good sign after E3 just happened/is happening.
Can we bet it's Wolf? The good is that if the next direct starts with the fire slash we won't even know who it's for! :D
It'll be for Smash Bros obviously. The good is that if the next direct starts with the fire slash we won't even know who it's for! :D
Well? What else were they going to put in to replace the Mario music video? Or all the necessary feel details on games we now?>tfw Nintendo doesn't say AC party game is free.
Come on man, that is so dumb....
not sure i trust him seeing as amazon has a bundle for it with 2 amiibo and 3 amiibo cards>tfw Nintendo doesn't say AC party game is free.

I would assume that's for the Amiibos.not sure i trust him seeing as amazon has a bundle for it with 2 amiibo and 3 amiibo cards
It'll be Slippy instead. Can we bet it's Wolf?
I could see a discounted price if it happens, and true.True, but it's worth noting that they also have a bunch of titles listed as "Unannounced." We'll see.
To answer your question, they could be free since they were originally planned. Or they could be at a discounted price.
Very true which is why i brought up that question.Pokémon Super Mystery dungeon is an instant buy for me.
I generally laughed when the town chased Treeko.
It's bringing my childhood wonder back to Me :'3
I imagine they would be free.
People would really ***** if something that got cut was now made to be paid for.
Eh... I'm not really buying it since anyone can make text leaks, but I does raise an eyebrow.Apparently the direct has been leaked since a few months ago.

Speaking of which.....I think Nintendo's thing hurt so much not because it was bad but because there were so many minor mistakes that could have been fixed.
Not passing Blast Ball off as a new IP the night before, explaining the WiiU AC game (the more they explained of HHDesigner the more I liked it, especially the outdoor stuff) and last of all, not ending ona game that had been done to death.
SMASH BROS LOGO FLIES INTO BATTLE!It'll be for Smash Bros obviously.
I was at least close. The metroid references are clear. I wouldnt be surprised if this was next level game's metroid.
the hud looks like her helmet and the side dash and charge shot are obvious.
because i have an irrational hate for pikachu ever since i was a childPichu is just adorable. Why wouldn't you want to look at some adorable?
For the record, I know he's had supporters, and I know you've been one of them; I'm not the most vocal, but I've definitely been in favor of him for some time myself. I just sense a bunch of bandwagoning that might not have sprung up were it not for how Roy was treated. (For that matter, I would've taken Roy in any form because he was fun in Melee, but goodness did they deliver! I may end up liking him more than Lucas!)I'm not sure why people think that Pichu support is just now sprouting up... it's definitely exsited ever since Brawl. I've always loved Pichu, at least. I suppose now that Roy is back, we're just being a bit more vocal about it? I don't know.
But there's a good reason, since Pichu is the most sense-making veteran after Wolf.
-Ice Climbers have issues on the 3DS
-Toon Link is essentially Young Link
-Konami is having issues, probably hinders Snake
-Squirtle and Ivysaur seem awkward to have by themselves when compared to Charizard
Also Pichu represents baby Pokémon, represents generation 2, and gives a clone to the biggest franchise in Smash that doesn't have one. Pichu has a unique mechanic as well that will give it more benefits with the introduction of rage. Not to mention with Roy's changes, Pichu could possibly be altered as well.
So yes. Vote Pichu.

Man Johnny being rational makes me happy that all Metroid fans aren't that much of cry babiesthiss is the right way to look at the metroid thing
See he even manages to make something as vugar as slapping dat booty be plum adorable.
I'll let you finish because as awesome as Samus and DK are? They aren't a mascot of the entire company like you know...Mario and Pikachu.Pichu is unnecessary to me because what's the point? It doesn't matter about cloning Pikachu, we haven't got a Samus or DK clone for sale of giving a character a clone.
Allow me to say this.
I don't like Pichu in Smash, and I don't want him in Smash Bros. ever again.
... But don't let me stop you from voting.I'll try tho
You'll see.... YOU'LL ALL SEE.I'm just tired of clones as DLC. I'm tired of clones in general, the only necessary one we need back is Wolf. Pichu is unnecessary to me because what's the point? It doesn't matter about cloning Pikachu, we haven't got a Samus or DK clone for sale of giving a character a clone.
I need some more original movesets and I doubt Pichu is even a priority at this point. He's a relic with a small popularity just for being crap and taking that as an asset is to me stupid design.
