It's ridiculous how some people wanted so much a Star Fox game and now they say "That's just Star Fox 64 again" or "Those graphics are ugly", like seriously, lol.

At least they got something.
It goes back to what I just said nerds are just never happy.

We always have to have something to be angry about.

I don't understand the graphics hate.

Regardless, if they complain that they want one just like 64, don't complain when you get it.

I've had enough Agrabah, rest of the selection sounds nice though.

EDIT: wait that article is old as hell lol
Yes but Tangled's and oddball mword to guess if fake, I wouldn't be surprised, Square plans ahead.
I knew Winter 2016 sounded a little bit wonky and funky because as I said in a post before they seem to be in deep development for this game and I won't be surprised if this leak is true also the stream mentioned that they had a lot of content to show off but little time for the video presentation.
Same, as I said they plan the game far in advance.

I'm hyped and rather enjoyed this E3.

Then again, I'm among the people who wasn't expecting a new Metroid, a bunch of sequels to games that flopped, and Smash DLC trailers after every game announcement.

Not like I was expecting any of those things though (...or anything really).

Still disappointed.

Do you know which time in which Rapunzel was playable Roger?
I can't find it.
I don't recall, sorry. It was during the little Q&A thing, not the trailer. The woman talked about how they decided upon Tangled, because of Rapunzel's unique abilities in battle.

Errrr.....weren't you and Kenith talking about a Golden Sun game earlier?

:ohwell:
I only said it because, in the smash community, that was what camelot is known for. I never in any way said i had expected golden sun. Not even knowledge enough about the series to make that prediction

Come off your high horse, Burb.

It's not about what you said. It's about how no one expected the presentation to be nothing but spin-offs and games we already knew about.

No one went in expecting to get a Wii U spin-off of Animal Crossing instead of Animal Crossing Wii U for example. Or a crossover between Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario instead of a Paper Mario on Wii U.

Or hell barely any new games for Wii U at all.

It has nothing to do with Smash DLC expectations or expecting sequels to ''flop" games.

It's literally about how the unexpected that we did get was pretty lame. You don't go to E3 and show off a bunch of spin-offs. Sony and Microsoft didn't do that after all.

No Wii U games bar the ones we knew about is pretty disappointing.

That's my biggest issue

When all you can muster for new Wii U games is an Animal Crossing spin-off that's basically Mario Party for Animal Crossing and a Mario Sports spin-off? You're really in trouble.

Hell, new IPs would've even been hella exciting.

I didn't know the Mario Tennis game was Wii U.

Welp.

And what the hell was with those bananas? I thought they were teasing a new Donkey Kong Country, and got excited, but nope. Xenoblade Chronicles X. A game we already knew about. And doesn't have much to do with bananas.

They also gave too much time to Mario Maker and Yoshi.

Like we've heard plenty about those. Maybe those segments could've been given to the Metroid and AC spin-offs to actually sell them to us and make us like them instead?

Seems like a novel idea to me.

Well, I didn't expect Metroid, Smash trailers or "a bunch of sequels to games that flopped" either.
Yet I'm disappointed, because I expected/wanted/hoped for just one new big Wii U game to get announced.

I mean, it's the E3, THE big thing where big games get announced.
So to me it seemed rather obvious for at least ONE Wii U game of the bigger franchises to get a new game.

But instead we got an Mario Party like Animal Crossing spin-off, a Mario Sports game (not bad in the first place, but, well, it's Mario Sports) and too much time spent on things we already knew about.

Star Fox Wii U was great, but it was announced last year and we knew it was gonna be shown.

Is it safe to assume that Hyrule Warriors Legends, which includes all of the DLC characters, includes all of the DLC costumes as well? Namely Dark Link, and the OoT skins, which I think were pre-order bonuses?

@digitaleyes finishes his translation of Snake Joining Brawl. Even though it's an old Famitsu column, the information might be useful for future speculation. In particular...

Also, we could incorporate heavy weapons like bombs and rocket launchers as jokes, but things like knives, automatic weapons, and realistic guns were off-limits. Since this also affected the other characters, even though I decided on Snake myself, I needed to receive permission from their original creators.
Maybe that's the reason Snake was cut in Smash 4?

I hguarantee if they gave metroid FF two more minutes of gameplay and exposure and a little bit of commentary it wouldnt have been received half as badly.
