I like that this is marked as "official E3 trailer" on Nintendo's YouTube. Pretty sure it wasn't in the event, lol.

Nope, it wasn't, and yet their Event was rated M. Or 16+ for Europe. So it was at least planned at one point to be in the Event.

Which games are you guys buying this year?
I know what I'm buying:
-Yoshi's Wooly World
-Xenoblade Chronicles X
-Yo-kai Watch
-Super Mario Maker

Splatoon, Star Fox and maybe Super Mario Maker.

Also Disney would probably make Square put all installments of KH on Nintendo systems.

If Disney bought Nintendo and Nintendo remained in the hardware business, they would finally have enough money to make a loss leading console with graphics equal to or greater than those found on MS and Sony systems. They would also likely have exclusive rights to classic Disney characters, Marvel characters, and Star Wars characters.

....I don't think anybody would be laughing very long after realizing that.

But... we'd never see a smaller Nintendo franchise again since Disney would have Nintendo making them Star Wars and Marvel, and Disney character games.

Nope, that fear is totally unfounded. Again if Disney buys someone it's not because they just want to use them to push their own agenda.

Marvel after all isn't making comics exclusively about Star Wars. And I don't even think they've done one comic about a Disney character.

Doubtful. If anything, Nintendo would just acquire more Western Studios in order to develop more games suited to that demographic. It's not like Marvel started making Donald Duck and Star Wars comics and dumped everything that they had been doing. They just started doing more.

Ah, the Digital Event really wasn't all that good. There really weren't any big surprise announcements, it mostly consisted of things we already knew. The biggest let down was probably the Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival.
I actually was expecting them to show us some future Splatoon DLC, like the rainmaker mode and tease more maps/weapons that will still come throughout the year.

At least I am very much looking forward to Youkai Watch and of course Xenoblade Chronicles X!

They weren't on Xbox either and look at that.

Hell not even the HD remixes got an Xbox port.

Pretty sure it's just real-estate and you need to buy those cards to get different people or whatever.

But yeah... I can't believe they didn't show Project X Zone 2 or Fatal Frame during the Direct and showed them off after it. Why would you not save the freakin 10 minutes of Mario Maker for a regular Mario Maker mini-direct or like a Mario Maker time-slot at E3? I'm guessing they just felt like they didn't have much to show, so they got as much filler as possible to try and hide that they had basically nothing this year.

I have been watching and viewing things on the new "Metroid" games
Blast Ball looks fun. It got a great reaction in the NWC when it was known as Blast Ball.
Why did they feel the need to slap Metroid on there.
I am generally curious as I have never played Metroid or been a fan of it (Will be buying the Prime Trilogy very soon though)
Also: pay attention to my sig gif.
Fox is annoyed as he thinks Falcon is an idiot for thinking he could get a new game.
Falcon has gone insane due to lack of said game/job
And Samus is pretty bored and lack lustrer with emotion

Frankly I think Paper Luigi is absent becasue Starlow has some kinda multi-game contract as the Bros.'s voice and Paper Luigi talks so that would mess up the dynamic.

I love how Paper Mario makes use of his Thousand Year Door curse powers like twishing sideways and turning into a paper airplane. I wonder if his combat inputs will be the same as in the Paper Mario games (i.e. use the hammer with the control stuck rather than button presses.)
