In hindsight, Nintendo's E3 wasn't as horrendous as I thought it would be.
I did enjoy the new DLC they put out for Smash plus EarthBound: Beginnings is one of my favorite video game announcements ever. Plus Star Fox Zero looks great and I might get Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam as well. I just wished they hadn't split the two best announcements in my book before the Digital Event; I probably wouldn't have reacted so badly.
It's obviously not good, but I feel it's better than E3 2012 all things considered.
I still see little reason to buy a PS4, personally. Maybe it'll get there for me eventually, but the only actual PS4 exclusive you mentioned was Last Guardian, and what I have seen out of that game has not impressed me.
Still waiting on the eventual slim, as well.
We'll have to agree to disagree there. Before yesterday I would have been there with you all the way, but since I have no current plans on gaming on PC (nor do I feel like spending the money for it yet), a PS4 is the only way I'll be able to experience The Last Guardian, Shenmue III, and FFVII Remake. These games really do hype me and I look forward to playing all three of them although it probably helps I just bought myself another PS2 for the first time in a decade.
Now this is just melo-drama at it's finest.
I love Nintendo's IPs more than most people and even I find this to be very sad (depending on circumstances of course).
