So, the Mewtwo leak had spots for 7 stages in the code. Suzaku Castle, Dreamland 64, Mario's 64 stage and Hyrule Castle 64 will take 4 of them... What could the last 3 be?

Seeing as how the only DLC character who got their own stage so far was Ryu (who is also the only newcomer currently), I'd assume at least one of the placeholders is for a ballot newcomer's stage.

The data for Ryu and Roy was found only on the 3DS whereas the one from yesterday was found on the Wii U, right? Perhaps it might be good to check the 3DS update anyway just in case?

I can't see that when the ballot is a thing he would deconfirm 7 characters casually like that. It wouldn't gain him anything.

Yes they may not work.
But if they do well they have the Wii U version done and only have to focus on the 3ds version.
That's what I meant anyway.

Well, considering that Roy and Ryu released today, the two extra character slots found in the data, and that we still have until October before the ballot ends, I'm going to bet on 2 more characters being announced on Tuesday.

Most likely Wolf and a newcomer. Which will be interesting, first time we'll be surprised by a newcomer announcement for a while.

I was so hyped that I didn't post but I finally got through and got everything downloaded a little while ago (probably around a half an hour ago)! I've only gotten to try everything out a little bit but I'm pleased so far. Ryu's definitely going to take some getting used to to try and get those inputs down, I've never been good at that stuff in fighting games.

Miiverse stage is...amusing, to say the least. I'm afraid to try out any of the female characters, though. >_>

You should be able to see your receipt on Wii U and that has all of your 3DS download codes on it.

I didn't get to see the direct live, but It was still pretty good. I have one thing to say though....leaks killed the hype a LOT. I expected both Roy and Ryu, but not today. Not until the most recent leak (nintendo's fauls apparently). I mean, to me, legit leaks that occur only a few days before an official reveal are just sad. These types of leaks take the fun out of analyzing them and just seem to spoil things for the sake of spoiling.

...well at least we know more stages are coming. I have little/no interest in the ones announced, but maybe I'll finally get Pirate Ship or Green Greens.
