Well Lucas doesn't count because he gets the generic DLC character guidance.
Voice actors: Nintendo didn't want to risk them being unavailable or something.
Yeah that's more or less it. It would be even more awkward if we got someone from Kid Icarus as DLC though.

Like thisSo.... currently, the 3DS roster is completely full if Miis are turned on, but we know there's at LEAST two more characters left in production. The question now is, how are they going to fit? Can anyone think of a way? I have a hard time thinking that they would simply put two characters on their own screen. That seems weird, especially since there's not even any room for a swap screen button.

Yeah, you have pretty unrealistic expectations if you think there's 11 remaining DLC characters.
Yeah for reals, I could easily see a 1minute or less trailer dedicated to a "we are working on this character as DLC, please be patient as he won't be released for a while" comment.
They'll probably shift all of the DLC characters over to the second screen when the next ones release. I'd imagine that the next page button would be used and all the DLC characters would be moved over. Tourney mode is coming in August...I could see us getting a Nintendo Direct around then that sheds some light on DLC. We are definitely getting something before the Smash Poll is through, I'm thinking 6 more characters (2 packs of 3) is not entirely out of the question at the moment.

At least 2 more characters, but I wouldn't be surprised if we got about 10 total (so 2 more lots of 3).
