Probably bug fixes, amiibo support, and/or preparation for the next DLC.

Honestly, I'm a little surprised that there wasn't a single trailer for DLC at combo-breaker, especially considering NRS streamed the MK11 event.

Maybe Samus' jab can naturally combo now? Or Little Mac's Side-B refreshes after getting hit in the air. I think those are major changes that should help them out.

Considering how they intentionally wrote an in-game tip about how Samus' jab doesn't link correctly, I think that's never gonna get fixed.

I'd need your insight here.

Hollow Knight is one of the the few games Id ever call a masterpeice, arguably the best or one of (pther being Ori) Metroidvania games in existance, at least until the sequel Silksong comes out.

I also prefer DQ over FF since the series as a whole is more solid - far less ups and downs and dunno much about FF. (but I know I would start with FF12 tbh)

Guarantee you it'll be nothing at all. They specifically posted about the direct next week at the same time as they made this announcement. With that in mind, there's probably nothing relating to SWSH today and they wanted to calm people down by telling them when it's coming.
