In a way, I'd have to agree with you; I miss the old nostalgia of the GameCube days. My favorite game from that time was Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom. Without question, it was the best game for me as a kid and I'll remember it even when I'm over 30. It's got that much of an impact on me and I will go ballistic if a remake or a remaster is even announced.

That game was actually not bad even now.

Which reminds me, one game I have a lot of nostalgia for is Sheep Raider for the PSX. Which, apparently, was also pretty good for a licensed game.

Nostalgia can be both a wonderful and emotional thing, especially in the video game world... it's how we all remember our childhoods from those days of playing video games without being busy with school and work and how they'll stick with us for the rest of our lives.

Overall, there still need some tweak (look at the victory screen), but for now, it's still a pretty kickass mod!

Seeing MvC go down like this, it really pains me. I remember the exictement I had when it was announced in that PlayStation experience. How did we end like this.

All I want is Capcom Vs Capcom or Nintendo Vs Capcom man.

Me too. Either one of those if dream come true material for me. I just hope Capcom learns from the mistakes from the latest crossovers they've made. They are capable of making extremely good games, they've proven it time and time again... And yet they still fail like if it was the first time doing it.

If Capcom VS All Stars or Nintendo VS Capcom ever happen, they better be pretty good games. I'd hate to have one of those titles go out like Infinite...

Melee is still a very popular fighting game to this day, and the controls feel so good.

The thing is, Melee might of rose too much in the competitive scene, because Sakurai does think Melee is the sharpest installment in the series, but he does not like how it still became a competitive fighting game.

I feel bad for Sakurai here.

Nintendo's main goal is to attract to the more casual audience. Despite the negativity Brawl received, it is still the best selling game in the franchise. Take Brawl. Brawl was for attracting casual players, and it did really well.

I think Melee will die eventually, it will just take forever because it is still incredibly popular. Brawl died as soon as Smash 4 came out.
