Saw Spider-Verse yesterday. Great movie. If you like Spider-Man, you'll like it. Peter was great, Miles is better than his comic counterpart, all in all, a really cool film.

My hype level for this game is about 6/10... if this game comes to Switch (Which imo should be), my hype level would be off the roof.
I check the gameplay video via Switch, and I think the UI would be more better if its bigger... suppose Grandblue Fantasy Relink comes to Switch.

All but one of the challenges are complete in my book. World of Light also completed 100% in three days. I suppose that's it for Ultimate on my end besides that one challenge I'm missing which is "Participate in 10 arena matches."

Otherwise I wouldn't have unless I get into an arena (but that's where my last challenge left lies in and I haven't done that yet). I was playing BotW on Switch before I got my copy so I'll just continue where I left off. At least it's kind of good I guess that only your wins and total amount of Quickplay matches are visible in Vault -> Records -> Stats. That prevents me from getting super burned out from it, not wanting to play because I often lose (a very Flight tradition).

It has a pretty fascinating story explores the life of a young Japanese gamer in the 1990s.

The character developments and interactions are surprisingly good.

After doing all the primary stuff you do in a Smash game, it's always either "you go online or you don't play it." It's been that way since Brawl. I only played online for the challenges. Otherwise I wouldn't have unless I get into an arena (but that's where my last challenge left lies in and I haven't done that yet). I was playing BotW on Switch before I got my copy so I'll just continue where I left off. At least it's kind of good I guess that only your wins and total amount of Quickplay matches are visible in Vault -> Records -> Stats. That prevents me from getting super burned out from it, not wanting to play because I often lose (a very Flight tradition).

I juts remembered that the 3DS had AR functionality that they never used.

I think it's all about impressing possible customers early on the product's lifecycle. Thankfully they made up their minds and removed all features they didn't use in past systems, which means no cameras, no microphones even at the cost of no built-in voice chat unless you plug in a headset for Fortnite, and others and instead focused on the core aspect (controller input) for Switch. The one feature I'm bummed about is that since it's going to be docked often you don't have access to the touch screen, and wanting to draw things on it on an application wouldn't be feasible unless you take it out and use a stylus meant specifically for capacitive touch screens.

That doesn't make sense.

Unless you have friends coming over you're going to be alone for the most part and the only thing you'll be bothered to do is online play since everything else is complete.

I'm honestly afraid that Smash 4 will have more longevity than Ultimate due to WoL taking the entire single-player budget. Score attacking in Smash Run was really freaking fun (if a bit frustrating because there's no indication of how the **** scoring works and getting a good score is fairly luck-based (compare this to Sonic Heroes, where the scoring system is deep, yet easy to understand...)).

I'm honestly afraid that Smash 4 will have more longevity than Ultimate due to WoL taking the entire single-player budget. I'm not worried, on the other hand. Players can just do VS. Matches to unlock characters, and with how a good chunk of top Melee players are giving Ultimate a lot more respect than Smash 4 (examples: Leffen and Armada) and with how the Ultimate competitive scene is already seen as significantly better compared to how the Smash 4 scene was seen early in its own lifespan, I think that Ultimate will last just as long as Smash 4, if not longer.

Unless you have friends coming over you're going to be alone for the most part and the only thing you'll be bothered to do is online play since everything else is complete.

It’s not a bad thing to play Smash alone, besides...it’s fun...also you can play with anyone anywhere like a sick stalker

Also, I have now unlocked every character in Smash Ultimate! My final unlock ended up being Chrom. I'm not really sure who I'm going to main yet though. Out of a few characters that I've been interested in:

I haven't played much of or, but I'm interested in playing more of them.

and feel pretty nice to play, and I played them quite a bit in Smash 4, so I suppose it's likely that I'll play more of them.

and both are pretty cool and I feel like I've gotten decent with them.

I've been playing quite a bit of in WoL ever since I unlocked him, and I like how he plays in Ultimate, despite not playing him much in Brawl.

is pretty cool, if a little slow.

I played a decent bit of when I was trying to unlock everyone, since I played him in both Brawl and Smash 4, and he feels pretty good here. I might also play as well, since she and Marth play so similarly.

I was interested in playing in the previous game, but I didn't play him much despite liking his playstyle, mostly due to not wanting to play too many characters, and I think I'll like playing him, but just like in Smash 4, I'm somewhat afraid of playing too many characters.

All in all, it seems like there are quite a lot of characters that I enjoy playing, so it's going to be very difficult to try and play only one character.

By the way, I seem to have not gotten my code for Piranha Plant yet, despite the fact that I registered my game on release day, and I read somewhere that you're supposed to get your code within 10 days of registering, and as of this writing, it's been 17. I don't know if anyone else is having the same predicament as well, but I'm not sure if something went wrong or if I just have to be patient and wait.
