There's the same chance your starter will be shiny as any other 'mon, 1/8192.

Resetting will eventually produce one with enough patience, it's just a pain in the pelvic peripherals.

Just that it feels like a waste of a video on a channel that already has questionnable quality (beyond the editing because that part of the channel is still great).

I kinda hope not.

If there's one thing I kinda dislike about iZombie is how much they go back to the Liv/Major romance just to have it end at "we don't work anymore" for 4 seasons straight. But I'm also not a fan of "will or won't they" plots so it also annoys me on that front.

My Pokémon Number is Luxray. Actually a favourite line of mine (not the favourite, but whatever) so I'm rather happy with that.

That graphic is actually way out of date, because there are 807 Pokémon now (not including the Mels).

I would have gotten a Gen 8 Pokémon (specifically one of the Grass Starters) if I did the calculation a few months from now.
