Okay, not the dumpster fire that I was expecting. It looks cringe-worthy, but Ryan Reynolds and the nostalgia jokes might be able to carry it thought. The official movie poster is actually kind of cool.
I might just see this, if only to see Hollywood's take on a Live-Action Grimer.

The Detective Pikachu movie looks better than it has any right to be.

Very surprised at how well they adapted the Pokémon, the only ones that look pretty off are Jigglypuff, Greninja, and Mr.Mime.

I love the universe and idea of Pokémon, but haven’t played any of the main series games. This film has me intrigued.

Articuno dies in an instant or in two hits. I mean, it has a four times weakness to rock. It is weak to electric, fire and steel.
If that Steelix has a rock type move, then Articuno is dead.
Also I doubt someone would give Articuno a water type move.

I have a Stan Lee to story to share about how awesome this man really was.

He came to Baltimore Comic Con twice. Couldn't afford the rates to meet him of course. But on the second go around I was on the way back from a booth and near the bathrooms when I bumped into a man.

''Whoa, watch out there!"

It was Stan Lee. He signed the Spider-Man shirt I had on my body and said ''Don't tell anybody!" Then proceeded to stop and take pictures with people cosplaying as some of the X-Men. ''I'm going to get into so much trouble if they see me." He laughed while taking photos with them.

I never forgot how generous he seemed for such a legend and for someone who had such expensive photo ops and signings.

Marvel and all its amazing characters were a huge part of my childhood plus the MCU made me feel like a kid again and I have to thank him for all of this.
