On a different note, I got to play the Smash Ultimate demo last weekend! It just so happened to be at a location close to where I live, so I got to play it when it was around. There was a long line, but it only took about an hour wait to play (it was a much shorter line compared to waiting to playing the Smash 4 WiiU demo at Best Buy years ago, where the wait lasted more than an hour in my location).

I picked up Greninja again for my match since I've noticed people at the Demo didn't play him at all, nor did I hear much about how much Greninja changed from Smash 4 with the recent demo news. I didn't win the match though: I'm far more familiar with the Gamecube controls, but everyone had to use Switch Pro controller for the matches, and I wasn't familiar with such a controller scheme. There were cases where I thought I registered a Smash Attack, but it came out as a Special instead. Perhaps if we were given Gamecube controllers, I probably would've done better.

Thus, I can't comment on how much Greninja changed from Smash 4, though from what I noticed during my gameplay, it didn't feel like Greninja got any serious nerfs (thank god!).

I was also the only that didn't play a newcomer: my opponents played Inkling, Isabelle, and Ridley. It ended up going down to a sudden death between the Isabelle and Ridley player, with Ridley winning in the end when the Sudden Death barriers zoomed in very close.

There was also a point where I almost pulled off Greninja's Final Smash, but I got KOd by the Isabelle player right when I was about to pull it off. A rather salty moment since I was hoping to see what exactly changed about his Final Smash beyond just the Ash-Greninja aesthetic, but oh well.

I still had fun. Guess I'll experience Greninja in full swing when the game comes out!

That new Sonic vs. Mario DB sorta reminded me of mid-2000’s Newgrounds animations, particularly that old Sonic vs. Mario war video.

Oh, and the boy Greninja's there, so not just Gen 1 Pokemon. And at least Charizard looks cool. This movie seems weird though. Like the lighting's a bit grittier than you'd think for Pokemon, but it's not too serious.

What the actual hell, it actually looks kinda neat. Good to see it's not only gen 1 Pokemon. Also Sinnoh appeared in the trailer, Diamond and Pearl remakes confirmed.
