I don't really watch Death Battle, so I have no idea how it was. Did they use 3D models for it?

And yeah, 1MM is just a more fun watch all around.

I don't care about research, I just wanna see sprites **** **** up.

No, they had a guy animate it, like with actual animation. Their 3D animation is ususally okay, Torrian just goes ****ing bananas with the lighting.

But the fact that ScrewAttack ditched the team that arguably gave most of their great animations (at the time) was a dumb move.

I gotta say, if the way it zooms in on Dark Samus' helmet is a reference to SA-X, that's a pretty awesome reference.

Heck, the way the lighting that happens when the name comes up during the pose almost makes it look like there's a face in Dark Samus' helmet.

It looks more like three eyes peeking out to me.
