LOL, you totally have a point... but you forgot one thing...
I wasn't really being serious or really try to make GPD Win 2 has a huge advantage over Switch... I was just having fun and I'm pretty sure Red knows that. Only my last statement is real though....
So, I'm gonna continue to make myself look more stupid when it comes to defending a mini gaming laptop
These seem bull**** to me, that's an argument not exclusive to a Switch but to every video game system. Including a PC, as after all, you're gonna buy more games on it right? It's a non argument because it favours nobody here.
True, but like I said, Nintendo Switch games/ports tend to be more expensive than other ports, while Steam occasionally has discounts.
Also, you can play old games the mini laptop, but..................this involves on something that we should not talk about here.
Also how dare you imply Funky Mode is a downgraded port
I never mention anything about Funky Kong LOL.
(But a bit true here, I think most people will agree that DKC Tropical Freeze on Switch is a bit expensive for a port, even though I personally like the Funky Kong Mode)
Before I hit post I also realized what if the Steam games have DRM? Not to mention you just didn't provide an argument for the small screen meaning you can't be all too precise for competitive shooters because no, "Overwatch and CS:GO don't require huge resolution to be playable" isn't an argument because it makes Red's point all the more valid. If you're gonna get the competitive shooty game why play it on something that WILL give you a huge disadvantage?
I mean... my laptop (Pretty decent one, and has the same RAM size as Switch) can only run Overwatch 30 fps (Higher than that my game will freeze every second), and chances are it will stutter or even freeze if you are unlucky... my laptop screen is big and has decent resolution but it is its CPU and a part of RAM that made the framrate bad...
So yeah, it is a bummer to have a disadvantage when the screen is small, but compare to framerate drops/lags, I prefer screen downgrade than fps downgrade since it's confirmed that Overwatch runs 50-55 fps on GPD Win2, that's pretty impressive for a laptop that is just a size of 3DS, and you can play it in the palm of your hand.
But in the end, it's just for fun Gwen, do't take it too seriously, and I know my arguments have flaws since... I haven't got GPD Win 2 lol, even though I am truly interested to get that mini laptop.
My predictions (Switch only because I don't care for 3DS)
