Not all reply videos are beef, it's more so actual thoughts on the subject Basement presented rather than say, one of those rant videos you see all the time in recommendations. Though I have to say, IDK why Shisho's saying it's a joke.

Crunchyroll made an apology tweet about not putting up a content warning for that so when Crunchyroll actively acknowledges they ****ed up and want to improve their service on something, you know it's bad
Technically it's Crunchyroll that sort of screwed up, I mean this is another anime that look fine by the aesthetics but very disturbing in action, which I personally not fond with it but I don't see why is that a bad thing if they put a content warning.

Exactly, so I get it... that scene was of course disturbing... and it's really fine if that kind of scene let's you drop the anime. Which me to me honest after founding out what kind of content Goblin Slayer is, I personally not going to watch it sooner or later.
This is just once again similar with how some used to say "Some XC2 character design has a problem", the argument just doesn't stand well besides of just Crunchyroll didn't mention content warning and promoting it as it it was an anime with a light hearted story, and personal opinions. Not sure why users here tend to complain about this in the wrong way...
everyone should agree that **** is a ****ing atrocity and that it should be called out whenever possible. goblin slayer seems like lazy popcorn murder porn. if thats your cup of tea then thats fine but dont portray the story as philosophical for gods sake
Calling it out actually just makes the anime getting more attention, so... not sure if that actually helps.
Jesus Christ, just watching that first episode gave me 50 stress. 0/10, would not recommend.

Name itself is lazy, but the anime quality? It's actually pretty good. The story though, just too generic for me to just go and watch it...
