Fire Emblem talk? Okay, count me in.
As you can tell by my profile pic, I was recently playing FE12. I got up to around the chapter where you make the Starsphere, but I decided to restart since Kris was my only good unit. He was a Level 15 Hero with max capped Strength, Skill, and Speed stats, and a very high Luck stat. He basically was doing all the work, since he could double just about anyone and was doing 20+ damage on enemies with an Iron Axe alone. Even Wvyerns and Dragons, who are supposed to be tougher enemies than regular human units, still got killed one turn. Granted, it was only Normal difficulty, but I played the first few chapters of Lunatic, and he still doubles enemies.
And as for the part about removing Robin's weapon durability mechanic, I personally disagree. He should keep them. Instead of spamming tomes and the Levin Sword all willy nilly, you should be mindful of your weapon usage so that it doesn't break during crucial moments. That's part of what being a tactician is all about—being careful and planning ahead. Besides, the rest of the FE cast all have legendary weapons that was blessed by a deity of some sort— Marth's, Chrom's, and Lucina's Falchion, Ike's Ragnell, and Corrin's Omega Yato—all of which are unbreakable, with the exception of Roy's Binding Blade. Robin just uses ordinary weapons, so it'd be unnatural if they didn't break. Unless he got his weapons from FE14 where they flat-out removed the weapon durability mechanic in its entirety.
