My favourite source for retro ROMs and ISOs is getting shut down, probably by Nintendo's hands.

I was actually somewhat excited for a Nintendo thing today and they go and kill my mood right after.

Can't say with 100% certainty but it sure looks like it.

Unless one were to argue that Sakurai was intentionally misleading fans which I think is straw-grasping. Then again most of the **** I say is straw grasping lol.

Bruh trust me when I say this. I'd love to be wrong on this.

But with the way Sakurai worded his phrasing, he made it pretty clear that the stage count we saw was final and we got to see the final stage selection.

Not saying that those kinds of characters are impossible but damn they sure look unlikely as hell unless they only had playable representation and no stages. Which doesn't really happen with newcomers anymore.

One thing I liked about what was shown is Ditto.

The official strategy guide for Melee stated that Ditto can appear from a Poké Ball then transform into the player, despite it never coming out of one in-game. This was further proven when a unfinished version can be released when you hack the game.

So Ditto was 17 years in the making! :132:

Waluigi will most likely be playable if they do have a next Smash Bros. game.

No I won't trust you. I will trust my own cognitive thinking and the art of basic logic.

Ness, Captain Falcon, Marth, Roy, and R.O.B all debuted without a stage to call their own.

Therefore, this line of thinking that a character from a new series ABSOLUTELY needs a stage to come with them, is baseless. It's happened before for three out of five games in the series. There is no reason it can't happen again.

Now if you'll excuse me, I will continue writing my fanfic about Rayman, Sora, and Spyro ending up in the Smash universe. :skull:
