Semi-related note Ganon having a sword and Wario having the shoulder back are 2 of my favorite changes to veteran fighters.

Persona 5 also had a teacher/student relationship and boy it wasn't great, even if I do like Kawakami as a character a lot (and aside from that her route was fine.) But that's kinda the issue with games that allow you to date other characters when you're using a pre made character instead of a fully blank slate like in most VNs.

I am. Definitely enjoyed the demo despite the shoddy online. Dunno if it'll be Day 1 but it should be within the first week or so.

Oh yeah I've done that before: Where you swear you typed something out but in reality it's something else.
I call them phantom words myself. It gets really messy in IRC chats.

I was thinking of considering Cloud as a FF rep since my interest in Final Fantasy is being rekindled so...

Still far from my favorite FF protagonist (Celes) though. That's because I haven't gotten anywhere near to FFVII, but that's why I'm still glad I have my PS3 for those PSX classics so I can get access to it. :)

Colors look rather washed out on the Switch version. The backgrounds and certain particle effects are more lowkey as well.

Yeah I was seeing that as well.
Honestly I don't mind it too much. Thankfully DBFZ is one of those games where the art direction shines through regardless. Like as long as it plays well and runs at 60 fps consistently that's all I want.
