As if this point it's mostly been buffs here and there. Mostly just faster moves or more damage.
Air Pokemon Change as well as the IE frames will help though.

Really the two big issues with Pokemon Trainer were Stamina and Type Effectiveness. The former being taken out, and the latter I've heard nothing on so maybe it's gone??? Gonna need more evidence on that one which hopefully we can get in due time.

But like Stamina being gone, that alone makes him a bajillion times more viable. Like they're an actual character now and not a burden to jump hurdles with.

The only thing that's missing from their kit, imo, is the ability to swap out in reverse order. Squirtle seems built to build damage and Zard is the KO machine, but you've still got to swap to Ivy in between.
