Not exactly. CP is more like an "overall power" - you get it by plugging all its other stats into a formula.

Basically what it aims to do is replace all these numbers:

But the problem is that it doesn't replace most of those numbers, it just hides them.

So the actual stats that remain are basically Stamina, Attack, and Defense, which are determined by its species and IVs, respectively. But you aren't given any of those - you only get to see HP, which itself is derived from its Stamina IV and its species, and you get to figure out the other two. Your Team Leader can hint at the values when they appraise your mon, but it's always in a range.

In brief they thought we were so scared of stat math that they hid all the stats, forcing us to do even more stat math to figure out the things we should damn well already know.

If that sounds like bull****, it's because it is.

Thankfully Let's Go at least lets you see your mons' levels - in the trailer, you can see them in their stat box in the trainer battle - so there's one point in its favor.

In GO, we get that lovely slider arc you see above Alakazam's head, which effectively shows its level in relation to your trainer level - if the dot gets all the way across, it's roughly at yours.

That looks incredibly cancerous.

But I'm going to try to ignore it for now. After all, the details aren't set in stone just yet.

Got ahold of both Humility and Lake Zurich.

I've warmed up to almost everything in Gorillaz' catalog, but these both instantly entranced me, which the singles have a hit and miss record on.

I'm fine with them using CP. It makes for a decent approximation of a mon's power level and there's nothing inherently wrong with that.

What I'm not fine with is them only using CP, like the rest of the stats are some secret forbidden knowledge bull****.

The reason why Blu-Ray is less emphasised is because everything can be obtained digitally or streamed nowadays with the same level of quality.

DVDs are still the big standard for brick-and-mortar movie rental places because they are cheaper to produce than Blu-Ray and anyone who isn't a tech nerd doesn't care much about quality.

I've been catching up on some of the E3 leaks that have been happening within the past 15 hours or so, and I'm definitely on #TeamReal when it comes to that Fortnite, DBFZ and Paladins leak on ResetERA, simply because it has Killer Queen on the list.

Considering the twitter for the game went totally dark earlier in May, I'm willing to believe it. If not, that's an insanely deep pull on the leaker's part.

I've been waiting to see what slipped out since I've been hearing people chat on this thread and I didn't feel up to digging.

MAAAAN. . .the more I look at this the more details pop out.

This explains such a stupid amount of things from why Kingdra has a dragon type its prevos lack to why the legendary beasts are depicted concretely as dogs. A lot of the design cues on finalized Pokemon like are a ton more blatant. Then there's even proto-Lickiliky, Mime Jr. and Leafeon from the looks of it.

Also LOL proto-Suicune. "Ed. . .ward."

Guessing they wanted to tie it and Umbreon closer to the sun and moon as per their evolution requirements.

But purple was kind of the palette cue for psychics and yellow was kind of the palette cue for electrics and Jolteon exists.

It was never meant to be.

Seems legit based on what I'm reading in the thread and some of the sites backing it up, so I could believe it. Personally I'd be for it since it'd give me a good opportunity to try out Fortnite and Paladinz, both of which are games I have access to, but I wasn't able to play for one reason or another. DBZF would also be awesome since I was hoping it'd make its way to the Switch, and if this is true then I can finally pick it up.
