I feel bad for Tangela. Imagine having a cool baby and evolution only to get them both scrapped and ending up with ****ing Tangrowth.

Also they seemed REALLY ambitious and had a much bigger scope for this title.

The region was supposed to be all of Japan, so Kanto was a part of it, as a city.

Also another thing is that Green was gonna be the main Pokemon professor and not Elm.

I never thought we would see the day this surfaces again. Pretty excited that this lost media has come to light, it shows some great history.

Also I wish that quifish and farfetch’d had their evolutions become canon.
It’s always neat that there was the torpedo shark here again. They must have really liked that one.

It’s so cool to see all this.

Also slowbro having its tail be a separate line is pretty amazing. I wish we got that too.

At least now it makes sense why Pokemon following you randomly came back in HGSS and never returned (until LGP/LGE.)

The feature was originally being worked on for GSC, was used for Yellow which started development after GSC, then got scrapped out of GSC, only to come back years later in it's remake.

Caught up. ChikoLad 's 4k tweaks look gorgeous for what they're aiming for. Scrapped GSC stuff looks interesting but don't have the fortitude to parse it all. More willing to believe the leaked E3 list I guess, would be quietly hyped for almost everything on it. Some other stuff I missed probably.

Translation is coming in about a month. This ROM wasn't supposed to be dumped yet but patched with the translation first, but someone dumped the raw ROM anyway.

I personaly think he was a free bird to a good father and Layton had to deal with that kid that loved grusome crimes and had a bad temper for however many years. I mean, look how his daughter turned out, I dont think there were any taboos in that family.

The jobs are fairly easy, but I have to do it alone eventually...
And the boss told me that I need to tell my parents about this because well... Internet Cafes have bad reputations on the surface... which I think it is some what exaggeration...

Quagsire actually looks even better with that kind of tail.

My first Master Ball was used on Raikou, that little son of a *****.
Remember how one of my friends used it on a Skarmory thinking he could get more of them lol

Anyways, that GS beta is interesting, I'm glad most of those Pokemon got scrapped though, especially the beta starters, they looked really bad.

I liked the seal and bear. If touched up, they could be pretty cool.

I think Colors actually provides a better showcase of the improvements, honestly. The chokepoint for either now is the geometry, but in Colors that's mostly relegated to background elements like trees and very, very far background objects, while in XC you've got Rothbart up against the PCs and the environment looking like someone summoned him in from 2006.

Also that poor pre-rendered Colors cutscene at 4:37.

Seriously though, this is awesome stuff. Is there some kind of tutorial for this available? I'd like to play around with it myself.

I used my first Master Ball on Raikou in Gold. In R/B I always used the item duplication glitch to get myself a lot of Master Balls, so that doesn't count. Last Master Ball I used was on shadow Tyranitar in Colosseum.
