He doesn't, you probably just got unlucky. Anyone can hit Duma as long as his HP is over 52; once he goes below 52 HP and starts using Oculus, that's when you send in Alm with the Falchion to finish the job. Or you can use your Saints with Nosferatu, or the Marth or Roy amiibo.

Speaking of Fire Emblem character ages though, apparently each playable Echoes character has a canonical age that's been confirmed due to data mining. This is because originally they wanted the of-age characters to be able to drink the Wine and Ale to heal, but decided against it to not give them an unfair advantage. Some of the ages are pretty surprising, even by Fire Emblem standards.

In retrospect that makes sense I think. Lucina's Falchion isn't the Exalted version like Chrom's, so maybe that's partly why she can't kill Duma.

Also, in hindsight, I realized something. In every Fire Emblem game I play, I feel like I get the most mileage from the Peg Knights. I should replay FE7 one day and actually use Florina, accidentally got her killed and thought it was like casual mode in the tutorial and saved over it

Really, I wouldn't mind spicing it up with discussion about other games. It could do to be balanced out at times.

But it gets tiring hearing the same grumbling over and over again every time every other game comes up.

"I don't like what I've seen of *insert game here* and that means it offends me on a personal level."

It's not like Fire Emblem is the only thing that gets overdosed either, Pokemon cranks it up pretty hard during reveal season too, it's just that Heroes actually striking while the iron is hot with updates and Go not doing so means off season is a bit more muddled for FE than Pokemon.

Like, a game JUST came out. It's understandable why people are going crazy with it right now.

It just needs to be balanced out with excitement about other games. Which gets a little harder when people either dislike or don't care about every OTHER game we could talk about. I mean, I'd love to talk about Sonic Forces or Splatoon 2, but the former can only end badly and the latter is met with a perpetually lukewarm reaction because hey look no one cares. Or maybe even some Xenoblade 2, but wait, HE HAS STUPID PANTS. We can't talk about a game if the character has stupid pants!

Well, played ARMS again, had more fun with it compared to last night, but I still don't think it's anything special. People are claiming the game has enough depth to stand well competitevly, I'm not seeing it. The Naruto games have more going on than ARMS. As something to whip out for a party, it's alright. As something to dedicate long periods of time, it's whatever.

Beat Tearaway: Unfolded.

Overall a very solid and charming platformer from the folks at Media Molecule. Has that same appeal the LittleBigPlanet has.

My only real issues are the rather clunky combat and the sudden ending (the game's at a decent length, but the ending just sort of comes out of left field). There's also a series of optional escort missions that can go screw themselves.

If you have a PS4 and you're in the mood to play a charming and relaxing platformer, Tearaway: Unfolded is for you.

As for the next game I'm going to play.

You may be kidding, but with how upset people got over the characters I wouldn't be surprised if someone out there actually did that.

Smash Bros is EXTREMELY serious business with people. People practically had a freakout over not getting their favorite characters by the time it wrapped up, and they were more than happy to have insane reactions to their scapegoats of choice. Heck, three fifths of the cast including every single Smash 4 newcomer is made up of scapegoats that some group or another is upset at for taking a slot that probably wouldn't have been awarded to their character in the first place or ruining the "purity" of the game somehow, it's just that whichever scapegoat is revealed last is going to get blasted the hardest because whenever people find something new to flare their nostrils at they forget the last thing.

Another fun round of ARMS Global Testpunch! This time I tried the Pro Controller.

Now my impressions of both motion & traditional controls: Yes, there motion has a bit more freedom in terms of arm movement. HOWEVER, the difference is so minor that you won't be at a disadvantage just because of your controller choice

And I tried Helix some more: I got a bit better with him.

I've always wanted to get into Berserk but its Archive Hell status and the lack of a good adaptation hurt it a lot
I sorta watched the movies with my friends but I didn't pay much attention to them.
