It just sounds like something out of a video game to me.

It's the Civil War, you're wounded, cold, suddenly your wounds start glowing and begin healing faster. . .
She has a point.

It's basically the Call of Honor: Battlefield health regen mechanic.

Except I've did at least four Metal Gear Solid polls in the past and Snake was in a cut veteran one.

Me choosing Konami means having to do Bomberman, Castlevania, Parodious, and so forth.
Real talk.

Wouldn't object to this at a later date.

Before I move on, I kind of need some input on where should I go next in my Smash polls. Since there are four third parties left out of the ones that contributed 1-2 characters in Smash already.

There was a problem fetching the tweet

It's simple, choose between these four companies (Capcom, Konami, Namco Bandai, or Square Enix).
Where's Imagineer/THQ? >.>

> Obligatory Quest 64 plug

But seriously, any work. They all have a ton of great characters. Might as well take care of Konami next.

Hmm...Square Enix then

Do Chrono Trigger...

I wish that game didn't fade into obscurity... :(
Square's going to need to put up a good fight, Konami is currently kicking its *** right now.

I bet it's the Castlevania fanbase doing this.

Chrono Trigger? Fading into obscurity?

Ring ring.

Chrono Cross on line one for you. And it's pissed.

Probably.

Good time to do them while the hype is built, honestly.

This feels just right.

This is the good timeline.

Dat Capcom though.

Konami better run from the dreaded Fidget Spinner.

Damn it!

You had to remind me that Fidget Spinners exist.

But Capcom would be interesting.

And now Capcom is ahead of Konami by one vote.

This is getting intense and I love it.

Actually directly voting might be useful on my part. The fact I tied it up is entirely coincidental on my part. I mean, what's the point of saying what I want without voting, right?

...I really should hold polls my twitter. XD

The Soma games say hi.

The older Castlevanias (Rondo mostly) also had a very 90s anime aesthetic, that also came with it's cliches.
At least they didn't have a plot about a girl being jealous of other females' bust.

Those are actually pretty tolerable.

Overwatch is pretty insistent on giving me Dances rather than a Legendary Event skin. Just got my 5th Dance.

We're talking about Castlevania and Anime, and yet there's no mention of Portrait of Ruin. :p I mean, yeah there's the artstyle, but most of all Jonathan looks the way he does... In the 1940s. That's how you know it's a true anime. :p

Rondo felt full anime with the cutscenes and Death having dialogues indeed, but they still managed to put Richter as the badass member of the Belmont family with that style.

Hm, I've never cared for SSF2. I've never understood the appeal of it.
It's a tightly programmed and really well animated Smash game you can play for free on a PC with any control scheme you please, is fully moddable, it has actually good side modes unlike Smash Wii U's mostly trash modes (I mean they're making a Melee-style Adventure Mode AND a Subspace Emissary style one), and it has some playable characters that will never make it into real Smash games but are still beloved and fun to play as.

It also has a lot of cool touches that not even the official games have thought to do yet. For example, when playing as Link, if you pull out a Bomb and shoot an arrow while holding the Bomb, it'll become a Bomb Arrow. It baffles me the official games haven't thought to do that yet.

It loses points for :rosalina: being a background NPC and not playable.

But hey it's got Tails and Sora so that almost makes up for it.

In Twilight Princess you can toggle an arrow into a bomb arrow if you have them both equipped...

Not quite the same as you described but pretty close...

Edit: just realised you were referring to Smash so nvm...

So there's gonna be a Crash 3 stage shown off on Friday and they're letting the public choose which stage.

Have it, lads.

So I saw a video of the post battle quotes in echoes and wow. The fact the game is fully voice acted makes thing hit harder
Tell me about it.

Python, Genny, Valbar, Kamui, and Delthea's hit the hardest IMO.

Then there's characters like Tobin, Gray, Mae, and Boey who don't actually die so they get something really silly.

Tobin's and Mae's in particular are great.

Genny and Valbar's death quotes hit me too hard. :(

I remember playing the first SSF when it came out on Newgrounds (cuz old person). In retrospect it was quite bad and the roster was ridiculous.

Didn't stop me from unlocking all the characters though, lol. I must've been pretty thirsty for Brawl.

Who knows? :3
Ok, so... apparently, people are saying on the Nintendo Switch Reddit that a Boy Scout magazine may of leaked some announcements for E3. According to the person who posted the image of the magazine, it comes from the June issue, which is within the timing of E3:

Let's just say... to those who are anticipating Animal Crossing/Pikmin, you might be pleased to see this. Although I will say, this could just be speculation from the authors of the magazine and that if this ultimately turns out to be true, there will be more to see for sure beyond these two game series.
