Nintendo has basically started doing their Fire Emblem line of amiibos with Alm and Celica being the first dedicated to Fire Emblem and FemCorrin does have some decent amount demand from Fates and Smash fans alike...I feel like FemCorrin and maybe even a FemRobin down the line are possibilities though as someone mentioned FemRobin is not nearly as popular as her counterpart or as popular as Corrin for that matter...

Yellowlord It honestly should be expected at this point that if you do any sort of rant/strong opinions there will be opposing views coming your way...If you're starting to feel more frustrated than usual with your time on this site then take a bit of a break for yourself for the time being...none of us are forcing you to do anything one way or another and there's no point in making yourself do anything you don't want to...

None of the other alts are even remotely as popular as the main versions. EVERYONE was baffled for why the less popular male version was used for Smash, it's fixing an issue

She's likely the only one guaranteed to sell. Alph and M!Trainer especially would be shelf warmers.

Plus IS actually gives good gameplay alongside their amiibo, so it's not like Female Corrin is a waste.

I think everyone is missing the main point.
It's not a matter of which one will "sell" or which one is more "popular". Unlike the hypothetical Alph or male Wii Fit Trainer amiibo, the female Corrin would actually have alternative functionality outside of Smash from the male Corrin amiibo if the tweet about female Corrin in Echoes is anything to go by.

Or overalls Wario. Or Bayo1 Bayonetta. Any of those would probably make more money than female Corrin or Alph or male WFT.

But FE clearly has a lot going on right now, so function first this time. Though obv the fact that it will undoubtably work with many games will help with profitability.

This probably just means these four amiibos were decided upon and entered production first, which makes sense, given their characters have existed in Smash for over a year now. In the past we've learned of amiibos of characters being made literally when they were revealed, not months prior, so... people seem to be looking at this one kind of narrowly.

I personally feel you've committed no crime per se. You are not wrong for having strong feelings, nor voicing them, so long as you are willing to examine them further later on.

But I will guarantee you that even if you have caused offense, even if only within your own mind, leaving forever would deny you what these apologies suggest you truly seek. It would offer no hope for growth or redemption. There would be no opportunity.

Take it from me.

Do as you feel you must, of course, but those are my thoughts if you'd like them.

It'd be the other way around. Most of the official artwork depict M!Corrin with Hoshido while F!Corrin goes with Nohr.

I want to know who at IS thought it was a good idea to add fog of war maps but not any of the mechanisms for combating FoW like torches or thief vision. And also not having a save point, because **** you that's why.

And then there's all the longbow snipers you can't get to, plus a boss with a meteor tome on top of the fog.

I'm the opposite. I'm tired of them releasing amiibo doing basically nothing.

Like everyone is saying "oh they have to wait for a game where a character can have decent functionality before they make an amiibo of them", but that's crap, they've released tons of amiibo that do next to nothing in-game.

I also don't like them relying on amiibo to lock content for the sake of it. They should have more elements of a growth system in place, like in Smash, where you're raising a character and saving them on your figure.

Yeah BOTW is the only time I'm kinda annoyed at them. And while the amiibo's content is superfluous at best... I still want those costumes.

In seriousness, I don't have strong opionions about many members (i do have a few), but I would sya there are other suers here you have been 100 times worse and still stick around all the time. If you want a break take a break. No shame in that. But don't feel guilty about any of your posts.

Anyway, I figured I'd post my prediction roster for the base version of Fire Emblem Warriors.

Bare in mind though it's likely not gonna be to everyone's taste. That's what DLC's for. Basically, I'm going with the Hyrule Warriors method.

Shadow Dragon: Marth, Caeda, Tiki, Merric, Gharnef
Shadows of Valentia: Alm, Celica
Awakening: Chrom, Lucina, Robin, Frederick, Tharja, Gaius, Gangrel
Fates: Corrin, Azura, Xander, Ryoma, Takumi, Camilla, Garon
Warriors: Original Hero (alternatively, Anna), Original Villain

Basically six heroes from each game shown so far, plus a villain. That being said, I kinda cheated a bit and merged Shadow Dragon and Shadows of Valentia, since they take place at about the same time with only a sea separating them.

I also tried to diversify weapon types. Swords, Axes, Lances, Thunder Magic, Wind Magic, Dark Magic, Bows, Hidden Weapons, and Stones/Transformations are all present. Staves were purposely left out since they're not combat weapons, making the only other major weapon types left out Fire and Light Magic (and if they have an original Anna, they can have her use one of these).

As for roster selection, I took into account roster space (as this roster assumes a smaller roster), importance, worldwide release and notability, popularity within their game, and whether or not they have a unique weapon. Take Merric, as an example. He's not the most important Shadow Dragon character, but he's important enough. The fact that he has a unique weapon (the Excalibur tome is his signature) secured him a spot. Likewise, Gaius and Tharja were picked for their overwhelming popularity in Awakening and the fact that they offered unique weapon types (hidden weapons and dark magic).

I truly don't think we'll see characters outside of the Shadow Dragon/Awakening/Fates triad in the main roster (save Echoes:SoV for aforementioned reasons). People may whine about the lack of Ike, Lyn, and Roy, but let's be real...Ike didn't even get into Heroes at launch. He's STILL not in Heroes. If other games were likely present, why not show Ragnell in the teaser instead of Yato, Raijinto, and Sigfreid all at once? That's where DLC comes in.

If there were three DLC packs, I'd say they'd be this:

- Blazing Blade DLC Pack: Lyn and Hector
- Smash Bretheren DLC Pack: Roy and Ike
- Sacred Stones DLC Pack: Eirika and Ephraim

In the event of a fourth pack, I see it being the stars of Fire Emblem Switch. Basically, only Jugdral gets left out here. RIP Jugdral, doomed to never have a western release.


So yeah. Those are my thoughts based on nothing but the thirty second trailer.

Considering they aren't exactly the most prevalent or well known (read: inherently profitable) of characters, much like what Nintendo did with their other less-individually-profitable amiibos (the retros, the Miis), it certainly wouldn't surprise me if the Corrins wound up in a two-pack. I hadn't thought of that before though, but it certainly makes sense.
