>FE Fates: Conquest - Lunatic Classic Chapter 17, haven't lost a single unit so far.
>Been stuck on it for days.
>Re-think my unit layout/strategy.
>Also upgraded some weapons to make up for a very miniscule lack of power in certain units who aren't quite promoted yet.
>Manage to find a more effective strategy than what I was doing before.
>Manage to get through the map pretty efficiently without too many stressful situations or heavily relying on lucky crits and the like.
>Got the two chests at both ends of the map too.
>Even Saizo has been kept alive and blocked off from going on a kamikaze mission in the boss room.
>My boy Silas hits Level 20 mid-map, give him a Master Seal from his inventory to promote him.
>Decide to send Xander/Charlotte pair-up in first to dispatch one of the three enemies near Mokushu
>He misses.
>Send Silas/Effie to deal with the one Master Ninja to the right.
>One shot them no problem, noice.
>The Master Ninja that Xander failed to dispatch then hits Silas, lowering his stats.
>Swordmaster then attacks Silas, but he's still good, and not in range of Mokushu.
>Except the Swordmaster HAS LUNGE NO WAIT
>Mokushu comes in and just about manages to defeat Silas by his second attack.
>Manage to defeat Mokushu on the next turn, but only after every one of my main offensive units attempts to hit him and misses, except for Leo (of all characters, he has an abysmally low hit rate on Mokushu) and Corrin.
I actually bloody hate this map, seriously. The Swordmaster with Lunge was my bad, but Mokushu's Avo is ridiculous. You just can't hit him reliably. Plus you have to constantly play around the Poison Strike skill all of the Ninjas/Master Ninjas have.
I'm now sitting on the Stage Clear screen because I'm not sure if I want to continue without Silas, he's one of my best units right now.
In other Fates shenanigans, I posted this on Miiverse and...Miiverse kids be Miiverse kids.
