Touhou is surprisingly more fun than I expected.
Like, I expected this game to be "perfect frame reactions" but it's not THAT hard, I mean, it still is super hard, even on easy(which is what I'm playing because I'm a casual pleb who can't dodge 300 bullets per second) but it's not what you'd expect from watching some videos of it. Attacks are telegraphed and slow most of the time so you have only yourself to blame for dying and the hitbox(at least the one I'm using) is super small, like, that sprite is vey misleading.
Ony complaint is that the enemy drops sometimes blend with other attacks and that can get confusing.
FalKoopa I'm playing 8 right now, do I really have to do all of it in one go? AND before it becomes 5am? How many continues can I use then?

Remember that the circle that appears when you slow down by pressing Shift is your actual hitbox. Not the whole sprite.

You have four continues, iirc. Using a continue adds 1 hour to your time.
For Touhou 8, during most of the stages, play as the human character (i.e. don't press Shift) and collect those circular blue time orbs. If you collect enough of them for a stage, instead of adding 1 hour after each stage, only 30 minutes will be added.

Do note that using even one continue will lead to a bad ending. To get a good ending, you need to beat the game without continuing.
(Don't worry about that though. It took me 1.5 years before I beat Touhou 8 on Easy. )

50/50 Thinking back to the Video Games Live "Classic Arcade Medley" really helped me recognize a few of those that had awkward pictures.

The gauge at the bottom slides towards left (Youkai) the more you use Yukari and right (human) the more you use Reimu. To collect those time orbs, it should be 80% or more on either side.
Using Reimu during the stage and Yukari during bosses is the normal thing to do, yeah.

Yeah, get used to seeing bad endings for the time being.

Kill boss can have more variety since said boss can move around the map and not just stay put. The boss can deliberately try to run from the payer or they can be an actual threat by chasing your units.

Highly recommending everyone to try "Stress Baal".

You get to torture a cartoon devil on your phone and watch all it's funny animations. Pretty sure they made the fire dragon to be Charizard, and he temporarily seems to go into magikarp form but without the crown .

Well then I haven't a clue...I was just fighting a Fortress unit while grinding and had a chain of like 9 or 10 attacks dealing over 100,000 total damage and the chain ended when I used a different colour art...

I tried it again elsewhere and used all different coloured arts and the chain ended immediately...

Of the fast food type burger joints I find Five Guys the best as you can ask for it to built any way and not look fussy. You got to McDonalds and ask for one without a pickle they stare at you as if you ruined their life.

You can do that on a seize map, you know

Either have multiple bosses, have someone other than the boss on the throne/gate, or just say "**** it" and have the boss on the throne move. (IIRC there was an FE7 map where that happened)
