What I don't like about certain fast food chains is when their deals force you to buy a full bottle of some soft drink you hate along with it. You'd think they'd let you drop the drink to save the pound or three it costs but NOPE, what do you think the world runs on, logic?

Ditto on the Mexican food. I live in the Rio Grande Valley, so good Mexican places are a dime a dozen.

Well then I haven't a clue...I was just fighting a Fortress unit while grinding and had a chain of like 9 or 10 attacks dealing over 100,000 total damage and the chain ended when I used a different colour art...

I tried it again elsewhere and used all different coloured arts and the chain ended immediately...

How long chain attacks are is based on RNG.

Sometimes you dong get crap, sometimes you get like 12. RNG improves based on stuff like affinity and tension I think

There's some in more places but I'm not certain where exactly.

They're fairly common in Louisiana and I know there's a few in Alabama.

Chapter 14... wasn't so bad
I managed to get all the treasure(RNG decided to give me the Boots, Warp staff and Silver Blade so I didn't need to drag my Thiefs across the entire map) and somehow escaped those dragons.
Speaking of which, they aren't that threathening, any Magic user can just 2-range them to death because they only have high Def.
Also managed to promote Lillina, now I just need two more Guiding Rings

You can do that on a seize map, you know

Either have multiple bosses, have someone other than the boss on the throne/gate, or just say "**** it" and have the boss on the throne move. (IIRC there was an FE7 map where that happened)

Well, yeah, unfortunately, FE6 doesn't seem to be taking it to it full extent. I don't think there has been a single map with multiple bosses yet.

And I don't recall any FE7 boss doing that, the closest I can think of is Lloyd/Linus in Chapter 27 where they'll start moving if Nino talks to them(it also makes Lloyd not attack Nino, Linus will attack her anyways), but it's a Rout map and not a Seize one

It was an unique idea that I kinda wish was used more: baiting out an enemy unit to get to a certain tile
I'm pretty sure the only reason it's not Seize is either because:
-So other characters can end the chapter as Eliwood is supposed to distract the boss
-Seize maps are coded to make the boss stationary automaically
-Both of the above

Uhhh im pretty sure they just do more damage. Not get more chances.

That or the Xenoblade wiki is made by liars.

Iirc the legnth of the Chain depends of the affinitty of the participants; using same colored arts just increases the multiplier.

Missed Double Dragon because I never played it.

Missed Rygar, Defender, and GORF because I had never heard of nor played them.

Missed Duck Hunt because I only ever played other people's copies and thus never had exposure to the skeet shooting mode.

Missed the original Street Fighter because it took until SFII for Street Fighter to not look like Hot Garbage and I thought I was being thrown a curveball.

There were some educated guesses. Got Pole Position due to knowing Pole Position II, Worms Armageddon after seeing the holes in the environment, and after some brief confusion with Silent Hill I noticed the world wasn't covered in fog and got Resident Evil (you'd think there would have been more obvious cues, but having mostly ignored both series the technical use of fog is the thing that struck me the most about Silent Hill).

Then there were lucky guesses - Battlezone, Galaga '88, and Zaxxion.

The rest I knew for realsies. Most were obvious, but had a bit of a nostalgia trip with Pitfall, Food Fight, and Joust.

Tbh I always want to go to Taco Bell, why? Because they're different; I can have "Trve Tacos" anyday, which makes Taco Bell more interesting and new with their hard shell tortilla and creative use of cheese.

On the subject of burgers in the Roughly 'Round Red Region: Rally's and Wendy's win different ways at different times for normal fast food fare. Smashburger tears them both apart if you're willing to get out of your car.

So in my rpg all characters and enemies are a certain element. There's 13 elements(but 1 is enemy exclusive)

Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, Dark, Soul, Blood, Poison, Ice, Lightning, Energy and Neutral. Every element is strong against 2 and weak against 2 except for Neutral which has no weaknesses. Attacking an elemental weakness does 150% damage and no party member is Neutral element.

Then again, perhaps it should be obvious. HD Rumble does seem like it would be more important to the people making the games than the people wanting to play them.

I wasn’t expecting them to begin the presentation by announcing the price. The price is exactly what I’d expect from a marketing point of view, but if you count all the individual peripherals…

The full thing is pretty cheap, and I say that as someone familiar with the inner workings of the system. I have no idea how they kept the price that low.

Sounds like the Tekken guys are working on the Switch.

I thought it was very interesting that Nintendo pushed the people who would carry the future of the company front and center during the presentation, even more-so than the allure of the hardware and games shown.

INTERESTING ASPECTS OF SWITCH

PlatinumGames has already come out saying we’re developing games for the Nintendo Switch, so we understand what the hardware is capable of. Which is why the price was surprising. This thing is seriously cheap. I think it’s the result of a tremendous amount of work, and it’s an indication of their strong desire to see their hardware reach a lot of markets.

The Tekken guys also worked on Pokken. Since the DLC in the arcade version doesn't seem like it would have any prospects of selling on the Wii U, I would wonder if that was what they were working on.

Platinum I wonder about. Do you think Nintendo would hand them the cash to do Bayonetta 3 after how the Ballot turned out? There is interest on Platinum's end.

Having a bunch of one class of unit in a game never really bothered me. Just means that if one of the cavs I'm using gets really RNG screwed or dies, I have reserves.

and now hes reusing Red for the female broly design

AND yes i did just post this to show off one of the US/EU exclusive things from the ps2 version of DQ8...you know aside from vocie acting(which thank god they brought back for the 3ds version) an actual pause menu, and orchestral music

what im saying is go out and buy DQ8 3D you all need to play the best ps2 RPG and i say that as someone whos games library consists mostly of RPG's (the other 10% consists of a variaity of games....mostly fighting)

I mean, I get that they're reserves but you get FOUR Cavaliers and 3 Paladins
Actually, FE6 in general just throws way too many units of the same class at you, one prepromote and 2 unpromoted are enough for most classes(and I just got my 4th Archer, no thanks, Klain is doing fine). I'd like a prepromote General but I don't think there is one
Took IS until FE8 to realise no one does Ironman Runs anymore when the number of units drastically decreased
