Depends on how its done.

The issue isn't that people don't want healthcare .Everyone wants healthcare. It's how its done. Mainly due to how its funded. That's where you get issues.

There isn't really a good system yet to...

A) fund good healthcare
B) make it affordable

At least not so that the middle class isn't caught in the crossfire somehow. EU has issues. Canada has issues.

The "good" healthcare usually isn't that great in many aspects.

EDIT: Seems like it's not totally dead. It's just that they're uncertain due to Mexico not paying for it (which was never even going to work in the first place IMO.) Anyways, time will tell if anything actually changes.

Good riddance, a terrible idea that had a terrible plan attached to it, it was dead on arrival and shouldn't have even gotten past the brainstorming phase.

Decided to check the donation drive for the 9th EVO game was going and from the looks of it we could be looking at another year of Mahvel.

Rather surprisingly Pokken shot up immensely but is still ways to go to reach MvC3, but it's close.

As for the rest of the games, despite KI's initial huge push, the donations completely stagnated at 4k and haven't really recovered at all, the rest are pretty much about the same as they were before.

Huh, with how quiet Pokken has been you'd almost expect it to have fallen into the shadows, yet it seems to have quite the dedicated that still wants to see it in the spotlight. Even though it may very well lose to Marvel at this rate, bravo to them for still showing support for the game they love and hopefully that does pay off for them somewhere down the road (particularly if it gets some sort of continued support outside of the Japanese Arcades).

I mean, you have to pay taxes instead, but it's better than having to pay taxes for your insurance and while potentially having to pay lots of money anyway if your insurance doesn't cover you.

There was a false fact I've heard spread by people before that Canadian's tend to go elsewhere for health care, which isn't true. In fact virtually no Canadian's do this aside from one's that have to travel to for their case.(And even then it's covered by their healthcare.)

So basically the downside to it is you have to pay taxes. But I don't see the problem for that considering that people always love to boast about being so charitable anyway(of course, when people do things like this, it's for their rep. Most people don't care about the people in need.) and it'd be better tax dollars invested then the stuff we tend to pay for. Like say, potentially a pointless wall that serves no practical purpose other than to symbolize that we're the most ignorant, fearful first world country on the planet that makes decisions on political position and emotion rather than rational thought.

There're a lot of nuances to the health care debate...but no matter what we decide on, the opportunity to be healthy through affordable means should be a right, not a privilege. People should have avenues to get well, and then it'd be theirs to use or squander, but the ability to seek medical help without burning a hole in your wallet should be there. Take it from someone who's been fighting off chronic pain for 5 years and counting.

If it's any consultation(or whatever word I'm looking for), I've never heard anybody over here complain about our health care. And my mom also says that it's very good that we are able to see a doctor at any time should something be potentially wrong compared to having to schedule a meeting and waiting for that day to come just to be checked on.
And going by what my dad, an army man, says, everything is faster in Canada compared to the rest of the world, from the health care to the restaurants.

Me and some friends watched Red Dwarf yesterday and we accidentally restarted an episode, to which I skipped to a random point and said "KING CRIMSON!" to which we heard Lister say "What the smeg just happened?" My friend's reaction to Kill la Kill's recap episode was also amazing.

On the topic of piracy a while ago, it depends how convenient it is. If I want to play say, Mega Man 7, I can easily buy it on the eshop, so I'd gladly buy it. Symphony of the Night however, I'd need to buy a whole new console, so I'd download it. Or a Katamari Damacy game, although the same applies, they mostly were unreleased in Europe so I'd pirate it then too. If I have to jump through hoops for old games, download it. Otherwise, buy it

I didn't care for it during the presentation, but this gets me tingly.

One thing I really like about the Switch is that they finally have a standard layout for the pro controller. Now I don't need to play Smash with a Gamecube controller, cause I honestly think they're pretty crap and only good for Smash.

Idk about other places but Ive heard fast food joints be called, Fast food resturants and places lke Carabas italian grill, cheesecake factory um...those are the only two ive been to, are just called resturants

Wendy's is a more general fast food restaurant with soft serve ice cream in cups referred to as Frosties, bacon burgers marketed as containing entirely meat products known as Baconators, bowls of chili, and after a recipe tweak french fries/chips that still have the potato skins on them. I tend to prefer Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers that I manually remove the vegetables off of when I get food from there, for some reason. I think I prefer the added moisture that soaks in or something.

Alright, Im to the point where I have no sympathy for my sister and I am about to snap. She keeps going to the ****ing hospital. She is so hardhead about making the doctor admit her into the hospital, she will not take advil or tylonal for the pain until they take her galbladder out.

Im done. At this point, Im going to be so stress im going to die by stress or my own hands. I cant take it

I cant deal with helping a person that is as hardheaded as her and all its doing is stressing me out that she keeps going back that I havent slept in days
