Vanillawares 2018 new years card is beautiful.
Its based on a story of Margaret of Antioch Where Margaret was swallowed by satan in the form of a dragon And the cross she had irritated his stomach and ahe escaped

Obviously Im not go to post it since 1) I havd a feeling no one here is mature enough to take a picture based on a christian(?) story of a woman getting eaten By satan disguised as a snake seriously
2) Mods might think im posting porn

TIL one if my first rare blades is OP

he is on Rex though so now idea how that changes things.
He's good on anyone, but you want him on Nia or 4th cause they have the best Bitball Arts (as well as Healing skills regarding Nia.)

Chapter 7 of Valkyria Chronicles is the most stress filled ride I have ever done, and in hindsight, I shouldn't have been playing it at 1 AM

>Boss is a giant ass tank that's 4x the size of a normal one
>Tank boss can 2HKO my tank which is a gameover if happens
>Turrets on all sides that have to be destroyed by Lancers
>Invulnerable to damage for the first part
>You have to make it destroy some obstacles to force it to reveal its weak point
>Weak points get covered up as soon as you destroy one, meaning you have to wait for it to walk over and destroy another thing
>After destroying yhe second, this blue ***** shows up
>She's completely invincible and will ORKO anyone that gets near her
>You then have to destroy the last weak point AND destroy the tank afterwards
>Tank's cannon takes, like, 1/10 of its HP per hit
And did I mention there's no indication on where the blue ***** spawns? So have fun accepting your unit's death if you left them near her spawn point

Lucina is the kid who isn't goofy, but kind of longs for a time where she could be.
I'd say it's more accurate to peg Lucina as the kid that isn't goofy because they're traumatized out of their minds. When she actually lets her guard down, she's. . .not exactly DELIBERATELY goofy, but a mix of social awkwardness and innocent childishness does creep past out from behind the stiff crust of duty bound seriousness. I mean, the bug incident, the dress incident. . .

But that's just me analyzing. Also Pit should be a bit closer to the extreme of the axis "McDonald's! McDonald's!" considering how hard he was rooting for fast food during Palutena's Revolting Dinner. Link and Sonic can wolf down junk food to be sure, especially the latter, but Sonic doesn't go to the extreme of struggling in futility against the idea of having a healthy dinner the way Pit does.

. . .Something something observations.

*EDIT*

Oh hold up I've got Boreas on Nia.

I'd have to stop playing Skyrim at some point to play with that, though. . .

Well, maybe. Without Grima to worry about anymore (and more than presumably in any situation off the rails enough for a McDonalds to exist), she finally does have that time where she's allowed to be a bit goofy again, assuming she can heal and convince herself to take that opportunity. The way you put it I assumed you were referring to her being duty bound to staying on track, although thinking on it I can see how you really meant what I ended up saying.

Only did around half of Chapter 3 :substitute:

Spoilerless:
-Words that literally give you life: "HEELING HEEEELO"
-Learning the elemental stuff allowed me to vaporize a Volff in an exaggerated fashion.
-Torigoth's generic Driver whooped me 1v1, so I returned with mi barrio to crush him, then I proceeded to kill him another 10 times to farm Cores
-I KILLED THE BIRD... then a bigger bird chased me.

Spoilerpingpong:
Pyra: "Can we use this Titan to reach the World Tree?"
Ophion: "Titan broke"
Pyra: "Understandable, have a great day"

-Uraya easily is way cooler than Gormott, I would chill at Vandham's Village for a long time; as it gives me Colony 9 vibes due the push-up dudes and the "Vand" of this game.
-Sucks that Chain attacks are introduced this late, but at least I wrecked Discount Clow easily.
-Vandham, Pyra had many wounds, why you specifically checked the one on her thigh? :denzel:
-Can't wait to reawaken the Arachno's Blade; the 8th Gym Leader of Kalos
-Bruh, **** Whispering Ignas
-I have no tank now, but having Vandham's muscular screams is way better than "meh-meh-meh!"
-Zeke is a walking dank meme, it was a cool comical relief
-Im sure Pyra grabbing Turters is also a hidden dong joke.
-Due its location and scenery, Fonsa Myma is easily one of my favorite areas of all Xenoblades.
-mfw no Waifu yet.

Very good late game when I used chain attacks to get 20000 exp from a single enemy.
Oh you say that but you haven’t seen me fight a boss in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. **** doesn’t fill as fast as I would like.
Use items that increase the rate it fills.

Duuno.

I don't ever remember Sonic eating something that wasn't a chili dog.

Meanwhile Pit gets eggplants all the time.

Although come to think of it he does struggle against them.

Like, uh, wow. I did not expect this game to look as good as it does.
And it's only $40. I'll probably wait on the reviews to drop before I drop the cash but still, it looks promising.

Got my first Rare Blade today.
And of course was my least favorite one, Finch.
For me she was one of my most fav. I didn't get her until a few weeks ago.
She has the same Japanese VA of Asui from MHA, and Tatsumaki from OPM.... They are all green...
Which one is Finch?
The first rare Blade that was revealed back at September Direct.
I probably said this before but what do you think is the best rare blade? I do not think Mythra is a rare blade, because you can get her early. I search for anwsers and I get different answers, for example one of them was KOS-MOS and Perceval.
Here is the source: https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/204208-xenoblade-chronicles-2/76073362
I will be at Swamp Sensei Swamp Sensei 's Mafia game.
Bye!

EDIT: I am EST so it starts in four hours for me.
Which rare blade is the best? To be honest.. All of them are the best.... Except Roc I guess... Not because of his design but his ability and his arts...
Note that this depends on which character they're bonded to. KOS-MOS works best on a character like Zeke or Rex, while someone like Floren will be good on Nia but not so good on Rex.
Probably, I haven't got KOS-MOS yet... So not sure about that. I know that different characters have different arts with same weapons.
I still stick Floren to Rex because I thought Nia already is a healer, and she already had an Earth Blade already. I give Dahlia to Nia eventually.
There's also some other good Rares like Ursula or Sheba which, while good, have some annoying Affinity Trees to progress through (Ursula being probably the worst example of this.)
Ursula... Yeah, a bit.
But Sheba, as long as you have $, there won't be that much of a problem, now I am almost done with Herr affinity chart.
Design wise my 2 favourite rare blades are the tank loli and the spear demon.

Percival is the ugliest one I’ve received.
Me design wise my fav has to be Newt and Electra.
Side note agate has one of my favorite lines on her bio "Weeeeeeeee adventure"
If you switch to her when Battling against inscet monsters, she will rail "Ahhhhhh! Get that away from me!!!!!!!! I am not joking! GET IT AWAY!"

Today was Rare Blade Day, I am so happy right now. Plus, I was able to get Sheba. And good lord, she is sooooooo good.

Though, my problem now is going to be choose what blade I want to use. But hey, I am happy that I finally got a bunch of rare blades.
So you bought that core crystal?

And you will know why you have to spend 1,000,000 to unlock all row of her affinity chart in her quest.

Small Brain: Use a Chain Attack at the beginning of a battle to start with nice momentum and start building the bar for another Chain

Big Brain: Use a Chain Attack during the mid-part of the battle to burst an elemental ball.

Galactic Brain: Use a Chain Attack at the very end of the battle to enter Overkill Mode and make your already dead rival eat ****.
Simpson brain: Use chain attack on a low level enemy to get more items.

Average Brain: Use chain attack and try to break more than 4 elemental orbs and not doing Full Burst.

Big Brain reedit: Use chain Attack to burst an Elemental orb when most of your party members are in low HP, and use a Blade special to heal.

Super Brain: Use Chain attack, use opposite element to break elemental orbs and do full burst.

Exploded Brain: Against unique monster, use Chain attack when you are in low HP, the monster was about to use a big attack to wipe you all out, heal all members with a Blade special and successfully break elemental orbs to do Full Burst to finish off the enemy.

Tranquillity Brain: Use Chain attack and do full burst when in Overkill.

About Full Burst... it is what happens once the elemental gauge on the left screen is full. Every elemental orb break will fill up that gauge, break elemental orbs with the opposite element, or break more than one elemental orb with to the orb breaker Aux core will fill up the gauge faster. Once it it full all drivers will do level IV specials, and it can do a ton of damage.
With how fast you can build those gauges up there's no real point in that.
Or when a Territorial Rotbart can just use Wild wave that can usually wipe our the entire party if your HP isn't enough... That too.
Bruh
What would happen if his Affinity Chart is completed?

I wanted to stall a bit to try that, but yeah...
You get Overdrive Protocol probably, that is what happened after I completed Rex's affinity chart.
According to Xenoblade Wikia, you get Overdrive Protocol once you completed a driver's affinity chart.
You can also get Overdrive Protocols if you release a four star common blade with completed affinity chart
items that increase the rate it fills.
Or increase affinity...
And do Blade combos and driver combos together.

Super Galactic Brain: Never using Chain Attack and saving it for 3 revives.
When battling against unique monsters at the same level, this is average brain if you ask me.

Down on the corner, out in the street.
You know, after saying I was going to get a Switch... I think I might wait it out.

It hasn't even been a week and I've already clocked in more hours at work during my current pay period than I did for the entirety of my previous pay period (of which I got for today).

Just hoping my next pay will be a lot more substantial so the Switch won't set me back to $150 after getting it lol.

I know that.

In any case, as I said before, the problem I am facing right now is that, I don't know which blade to use for which character. I am not sure if I should keep Vess for No.4 or not, if yes, I don't have a overdrive protocol for that. Does Perceval work well with No.4? Does having 3 attack blades for No.5 a good idea? Should I keep Sheba or wait to have enough money to upgrade her? Question, question, so much question. I want to try them all. But I know that I can't do that with some blades.

This problem I am having is why I like Tora/Poppi so much. I don't have to worry about all that stuff.

I usually just stick with the rh who resonate. Or I just put it as who suits best.
Perceval was resonate by No 5 so I just stick with it.
Does having 3 attack blades for No.5 a good idea?
If you want to make No 5 as all attack then you may make at least one as Jack of all trades. And another a sole healer. Also you may need to check if anyone can do at least one driver combo effect.
Since No 5 can already do launch and Rex can do Smash and topple , I just give him Blade that can do topple as well.
Should I keep Sheba or wait to have enough money to upgrade her?
You mean that you want to wait on resonating Sheba until you get enough money? I recommend you not, same with any other specifics core crystal. If you can resonate it, unless you haven't got that specific party member then just resonate it when you can.
And making money isn't hard until you did the salvaging strategy and raise up the area level to 5 star.
Question, question, so much question. I want to try them all. But I know that I can't do that with some blades.
Don't know what do you exactly mean by this lol.
In my opinion, I try to give every member an equal amount ofrare Blades and fair amount of the elements, there really is no which rare Blades belongs to who or which rare Blade is powerful on who.

'guess I keep perceval with no.4 for now I guess.

I think I am going to make Rex the jack-of-all-trades, Nia the Healer, Tora the Tank, No.4 The Tank that can either heal or do alot of damages, and no.5 the "I **** your **** up" character.

I already resonated with her with nu.5. However, by the time I poted this, I already unlocked her 3/5 of her affinity chart, salvaging feel good.

I meant to say that, I want to use all the rare blades I have. But I don't know what blades would work with which user along with the other blades. It's really hard to decide when you have so many option at hand.

It isn't that hard if you consider if the character has enough of certain weapon class of rare Blades and the elements of rare Blades.
And don't forget that that there will be more rare Blades in the future, but that only matters if you bought the expansion pack I guess.

Heh, I think I am just going to go with the team I have for now. Nu.4 work well with Perceval, Brighid and Vess from what I tested.

'Still hope we get news soon about the expansion pack, I really want to know what would be in it before I buy it.

Heh, I think I am just going to go with the team I have for now. Nu.4 work well with Perceval, Brighid and Vess from what I tested.

Yeah, maybe the upcoming January Direct we will here some more info on the expansion pack.
