In all seriousness, every Devilman fan I've known said it was edged up with sex scenes and that.

The thing is, that's just how the series is.

The manga(s) had a ton of horrifying gory ****, the 70s anime toned it down A LOT (the later OVAs were more violent, but goofy for other reasons) + Go Nagai's kinda goofy artstyle from the manga makes it look more cartoony than it actually is.

There's also the various sequels and spinoffs by him that either up the violence or sex or both. Violence Jack is infamous for both.

Ok so here's a thought.

We all know what a MetroidVania game looks like. It's a 2D platforming-action game with elements of backtracking and exploration. But what does a 3D MetroidVania look like?

Obviously, there's the Prime series that is whole-heartedly a MetroidVania brought into the 3D space. But what about from there? From what I've gathered Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Arkham Asylum, and Bioshock 1 & 2 all seem like worth candidates. Anymore anyone can think of?

I don't usually see people bring up Antichamber as a Metroidvania, but it totally is one if you think about it.

Pop Team Epic is the anime that'll save us from all this trash that comes out of Japan. It's basically if allison made his own anime: an animated series of ****posts.
They even made a Chrono Trigger reference which is an automatic 10/10 in my book.

I haven't made an anime yet, but now's a good time to mention that I DID make a video game. It's about using a television as a weapon.

The anima Saniro Danshis first episode is suprizingly deep.

Poor boy couldnt even have a Pompompurin plush in the playground without being called a girl and because of that he said he hated Pompompurin and his grandmother who gave him the toy and stayed away from her after that and she died before he could apologize.

After that He couldnt even adimt he liked the very thing he liked

Today was Rare Blade Day, I am so happy right now. Plus, I was able to get Sheba. And good lord, she is sooooooo good.

Made a ton of progress on Samus Returns. Snagged the Screw Attack, Plasma Beam, and Time Aeon. And I got a handful of upgrades I didn't get since I first picked up the Super Missiles. When I get back to it, I should be able to grab the Power Bombs and do another run of cleaning up past areas if possible.

As far as the RNG Rares go your best ones are: KOS-MOS, Zenobia, Boreas, Dahlia, Newt and Floren.

Note that this depends on which character they're bonded to. KOS-MOS works best on a character like Zeke or Rex, while someone like Floren will be good on Nia but not so good on Rex.

There's also some other good Rares like Ursula or Sheba which, while good, have some annoying Affinity Trees to progress through (Ursula being probably the worst example of this.)

I will say that the game is easy enough for anyone to brute force their way through it with any Rares/Story Blades.

An interesting theory just came up on my youtube feed about something from Lars of the Stars.

Spoiler: Lars of the Stars and Steven Universe spoilers

Emerald mentioned she could track the ship from the other side of the galaxy. So the theory proposed that the season finale has her track Lars to Earth and she brings a fleet of ships to attack the planet and capture lars, leading to him being taken to trial thus prompting Steven to return to homeworld with knowledge of Pink Diamond and finally solving that mystery while saving Lars.

Going off of this theory, it makes a lot of sense. Especially if Emerald learns that steven is Rose since there's files on him within homeworld and maybe Lars will be recognized from the Trial. Thus the diamonds agree to her requesting ships to be sent with her to capture the criminals.

The gems existence or more specifically Steven being there could prompt the diamonds to pump out some bigger muscle. Also if this happened, I hope Aquamarine and Topaz would be sent down, causing Topaz to choose a side once and for all with the gems.

If this happened and Lapis is back then it could help close her arc out too and she would realize that homeworld if fightable and that with their skills and numbers they can win.

I really hope this is what happens at least to some degree. It would be a pretty hype finale.

Just watched the Games Done Quick speed-run of Yooka-Laylee - from the perspective of someone playing through it for the first time on the Switch, some of it looked downright insane, and the final boss looks incredibly difficult. I figured there'd only be three phases, so it was a surprise to hear that the boss had four stages, and the third one looks like it throws an absurd amount of projectiles at you at once.

Yeah I liked Katopesla and was annoyed thta he never really got to do anything cause he looked cool.

But honestly of the 8 universes in this tournament 6, 7 and 11 were really the only ones that mattered. I really feel like the tourney will end in a way that has 7 and 11 disqualify themselves and ends in a tie so they both survive. Cause the tournament will either end in 7 winning or a tie and a tie would be more interesting.


Also I just realized it ended with 7/11...
