Nomura is praised for making memorable designs period but since... FFX I wanna say? He's gotten more and more details in there, not like Kentaro Miura details in which everything is highly detailed but with little extra things that are stupid

While that's true, that's only a case for the final product and doesn't apply to visual novels like Danganronpa and Ace Attorney. Plus, there's a reason there are cases of bad games having trailers that look prettier than the actual game, they KNOW visuals are important

I mean... again I was never a fan of Nomura's artstyle. I actually prefer Akihiko Yoshida's artstyle who had made amazing artworks for Bravely Default, Bravely Second, and Nier Automata's boxart.

As I like Killa La Kill I still prefer Gurren Lagan which even though Yoko's design has also been criticized as over sexualized, but they never overused the jiggle physics in the anime and she was just an awesome character. However, if you watch Gaijin Goomba's video on how the manga version plays that fanservice too much which just wreck Yoko's character trait...
So regarding your complaint on how Pyra's clothing is a bit of a sexualized is understandable, that said I had once implied this might just be that Xenoblade is going to try to attract more of Japanese gaming community than western gaming community. Because believe or not... there are even female gamers/anime enthusiasts in Japan like these fanservice... my sis is sort of in that category...

And you can't say that because Xenoblade is a "niche" series and thus there aren't as many people in the fanbase, thus making the "majority" a bit more easier to reach in terms of numbers, but fanbase means nothing when you don't know anything about the people complaining.

Yeah... seem that this is also the reason why Xenoblade seems to be an easy target on being flagged at its designs...

Anyway, it does suck that there's no customizable armor, but the designs don't deter me enough to avoid it. I won't be getting Xenoblade 2 at launch(mostly because i'm getting some other games first), but I do plan on getting it at some point as I enjoyed Xenoblade and Xenoblade X.

Yep, since it seems that there is no customizable armor I think my score prediction on this game might just drop to only 90/100... at most...

I will 110% get the game and at launch (I think). No matter how people complain, this game is still most most anticipated game this year.

I enjoy his videos and how many games has many Japan references even though it's obvious since Mario is from a Japanese dude and company that is over 200 years old. At least those videos he made are way better than MatPat's Game Theory videos.

I did not buy XCX, not even own a Wii U. I only bought XC 3D and my brother got the Japanese soundtrack CD.
Oh yeah, my anime fan brother also criticizes on XC2's anime design even though what he said to me I thought they were nonsense, so go figure...

That's a bit of a bad analogy... it is actually more like how the changes from Super Mario 64 to Odyssey...it was a big difference from we expected from a Mario game but it still had literally the same open world sandbox, but this time is multiple worlds and you have Mario wearing all sorts of weird stuff... including boxer shorts, yeah, I remember that made people go nuts as well.

All of the major female characters in XC1 had jiggle physics.

As for them being less detailed, that's kinda because the Wii had less detailed models to begin with. If XC1 was made for the Switch, the jiggle physics would be just as detailed and buoyant as XC2 since they'd have the hardware for it.
