Yep, of course people are hoping for Smash.

. To be fair, rabbids was a big crossover and announced by Ubisoft with a big Nintendo presence. Smash is very different but I wouldn't rule it out. It's probably not likely though,

I like the color to it, you don't usually get a good vibrant outfit like that on someone. Even the browns feel rich. I like it better for being a little more stylistic, too.

I hear it actually transforms for exploration mechanics, but I haven't seen it in action. I find it odd when some people don't even seem to realize it's a diving suit. Goofy, sure, although the buttless pants are more funny than anything LOL. But it has a practical gameplay reason for being the only outfit.

Yeah, it's a diving suit and people would have to realize that. He dives for a job.

As for the pants, well it's a JRPG. There's been weirder designs out there. Quite tame compared to the massive shoes of the Houshin Engi cast.

I actually think the boots are cuter for being a little cartoony looking. Helps it stand out.

If EVO ends up dropping Melee I won't feel sad, the meta is stale, the poor balance means only a few characters are gonna be shown and the 7 gods make it too predictable who'll likely make top 8, every other FGC move on to the next game but Melee fans are too stubborn to move on. Sorry if I haven't really said much in a while - I've just been happy chilling away with the inevitable video-game binge after my final exam on Monday. (AEST) It's mainly been Fire Emblem Echoes, but I managed to make a proper start on Super Mario Odyssey and boy is it fun! So far I'm just exploring the Sand Kingdom trying to find various Power Moons here and there, but so far, so good!

It'd be neat if we did see some new Namco-Bandai stuff coming to Switch. I'd expect maybe a bit of clarification whether or not SoulCalibur VI is real or not; maybe a Tales of game or maybe a Dragon Ball FighterZ Switch version announced. I'll be looking forward to seeing it.

And at this rate, I think the next Smash Bros might end up being the next Half-Life 3 (okay pls don't be that long of a wait or cancelled because of corporate greed/ignorance) But I imagine Nintendo would reveal it at a time when they feel like it's ready to be properly announced.

I found a really cool remix of Spider-Man theme from Spider-Man and X-Men: Arcade's Revenge. From what I understand, the game isn't so great, but the soundtrack was done by Tim Follin, and I think Greg Follin too. They're great composers.

They(or at least Tim, as far as I know) also did Plok and Silver Surfer's OSTs.

I guess I was over-exaggerating it. My bad - I might be getting caught up in this 'When's Smash?' cries a bit too much - expecting everything to contain Smash Bros in some form or another. It'd be better off to hold off any Smash Bros hype until it's officially announced in that case.

Well to be fair, the cries for more Smash happened... basically in tandem with Switch hype. A lot of people are accustomed to new console = new Smash, plus all those rumours didn't hurt either.

Obviously this has proven to be the exception, since we're about to exit the system's first calendar year with no Smash announced, which has never really happened since Smash became a thing, but tbh before it was incidental considering how early Nintendo would announce those things.

That said I still think we're getting a port next year. There's just less imperative to reveal a port as early as an entirely new Smash title.

Apparently the cashier was being really slow with his transaction. Anyways, he's screaming, the cashier's trying to calm him down, and all I want is to eat the hell out of these gummy worms. Lol, if you wanna play Dark Souls so badly, just play it on PC or Playstation, it'd probably run a lot better there too.

PS4 also has Bloodborne, which is essentially the same thing, but with a stronger "horror" theme, which might be more up your alley, as you can kinda feel some slight Castlevania vibes from it at times.

Also, you should read the Berserk manga if you're ever gonna play Dark Souls, as the series is chock-full of references to Berserk, to the point where it's practically a love letter to Muria's work. DaS is much more enjoyable when you can see its influences.

Visual downgrades don't matter because the bad designs will always be bad amiright

Also, hopes for Namco stuff: MHA news after the reveal, more DBFZ, including Switch version, Dark Souls Trilogy, maybe Tekken 7 and Climax Fighters (yes I am delusional why do you ask?). Also I'm the biggest Namco fan here, I have physical copies of Famista and Xevious

Eh, true, but if Dark Souls does indeed comes to Switch and runs well I am still gonna buy it on the Switch for the sake of portability. For me, I prefer portable gaming than gaming on TV anyday.

Oh yeah, I have heard of Bloodborne, I really got to play those Grimdark type games sometime. I also really hope that Code Vein would come to Switch, so fingers crossed that Code Vein will be announce for Switch during their upcoming announcement.

And for Castlevania fans, Bloodstain that is coming to Switch is also worth considering, can't wait for that too.

And this is a great news since I will be play hell out of Xenoblade 2 in portable mode.

That said, I still consider any new character/cutscenes screenshot spoiler lol. I know this may sound paranoid but that's my standard.

And well, I don't consider visuals takes a big hit, it's that open world drop dramatically which is totally understandable. As for someone who has only played Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, this shouldn't be that big of a deal.
