I only blocked two people ever in my time here. Forgot the first one was (for you who remember, no it wasn't Oasis), but the most recent was Cliff because he caught me on a bad week. But I took him off of it after I decided I could put up with his nonsense.

I've ignored a number of people here. After the Charlottesville Nazi rally, I just don't want to deal with people who refuse to get things, it's stressful and only adds to my depression.
Sure missing the context of a lot of conversations makes the thread as a whole harder to follow, but I don't get stressed as often anymore and I think that's more important.

I think Pyra's design is all right, not amazing, but not awful. I can see where the annoyance comes from though.

That redesign the person made before it became a meme had some improvements, but it looked a bit too busy.

I never blocked anyone on this site with the exception of obvious trolls. I'd probably only use it as a last resort.

Very late to this but:
I am happy that we do have a playable nopon in XC2, although I do find it kind of weird that he has the girl as his blade, since it feels like it would be the other way around. That said, that probably helps him be less of a load like Tatsu was, so it's probably a good thing.

I just beat Terra's story in KH:BBS
Overall I'm quite enjoying the game so far.
The ending to his story did leave me a little sad though. Then again, I know that ALL of the endings to the game are pretty sad.
Anyways, I am going to start Ventus' story next, and I hear both he and Aqua have a pretty tough early game.
It looks like I'm going to need to make good use of Aqua's D-Link.

I've never ignored anyone personally.

It just doesn't solve anything imo.

I'd rather argue with a person than just let behavior I dislike go uncontested.

Ignoring people can actually solve a lot, actually.

In my case, it helps bring down stress. But it can also be a tool it fighting toxic ideology. A lot of toxic ideologist don't actually care if they win a debate, because the real victory is in arguing with them in the first place. By arguing with them it implies that there is some sort of value in what they say, that it is something to be discussed even if it's wrong. When we ignore them, we deprive them of that value, we're saying "no, this has no place in debate, this is not to be discussed."

There are things that are just too harmful to debate, shutting them down by closing off debate is how we combat it.

Only time I'll ever block people is if they act like one of those people, waste my time at the first sign, or become like that one kid on PSN that sent me game invites on Black Ops Zombie. Like bro, I like playing Zombies on Black Ops 1; I think it's fun, but I like playing Battlefield 3 On-line more.

As for Pyra's design for Xenoblade 2, she's cute. I mean, I can see that her design can be questionable and catch people off at first glance, but that's just her design. Character and usability are obviously more important, but as first impressions go, Pyra's cute.
