At the very least the second should be patched up a bit due to Move Tutors, along with most of its physical movepool since they tend to be kind to bipedal Pokémon. The special side does worry me since I doubt it's getting Aura Sphere anytime soon, so hopefully it gets some other nice coverage moves to make up for it.

And please, he's getting Dragon Ascent, if we're making him broken lets go all the way.

So it turns out Sonic Mania has a second secret ending.

If you beat the game in & Knuckles mode while playing as Knuckles, a third Knuckles shows up to rescue the two Knuckles you've been controlling for the whole game from the exploding Titanic Monarch.

It then shows an image of Knuckles reading a book called "Sonic Mania & Knuckles" to a bunch of animal friends while Sonic and Tails stare in bewilderment in the background.

'Just watched The Completionist Sonic Mania review.

It was fine, but the constant bashing of 3D Sonic games really removed alot of the enjoyement I had while watching. Which is a shame because I was really excited to see his opinion on the game. And while I did get that, I honestly would have prefer if he made a quick joke about it and move on. I am tired of hearing peoples saying the classic games were the only good one and even perfect, when those games have alot of flaw in themself. And the "there never was a good sonic game after the classic trilogy" thing, that right there grind my gears.

Isn't that already the case? I mean, the fanbase is more broken than Brawl Metal Knight. And it's been like that since a long time, it just that the fanbase keep getting worse and worse at every new Sonic game.

As for your question:

Though, with what you said. It's true the circlejerks they have is pretty dang fast.

In some way, they are still Sonic fan in one sense.

Now that I say that, I still don't understand why other reviewer like to forget about Colors and Generation. They are the best 3D Sonic games of those last years. Or if not, good or decent at the very least. But I guess they have to make that negatif buzz by saying "3D Sonic games were never good", and remove those 2 games and just show the worst Sonic titles of the bunch. (And mocking the Adventure games in the process)

Honestly I've tried like four or five of them.

I tend to like them, really. Adventure and Unleashederations are two completely different types of gameplay from each other and both are different from Classic, but they're all fun in their own way.

Only one I couldn't ever really bring myself to go very far in was '06 and even THAT gets such a legendary amount of flak that it's better than most people say it is. I would recommend literally any other 3D Sonic game over it, but booting it up isn't going to kill you. It's the last relic of Adventure style and I honestly wish they'd go back to that general type of gameplay with (significantly) better polish and a plot that isn't so iffy that it nukes itself out of existence.

The new Metro City stage in MvCi has a Ken vs Iron Fist Poster. Clearly they have new models. Think there's a chance they'll be added later? With how quickly this game's been made, I don't really think they'd make stuff like that(as in 3-D models) without using it in some way later.

I honestly disagree with the notion that the Adventure and Boost formula are "two completely different styles of gameplay".

IMO, the Boost formula is just a natural progression/derivative of the Adventure formula.

Of course, saying that on Sonic Stadium resulted in me being chased down with pitchforks, so maybe I won't go there...

He still won, eventually, Blissey ran out of PP and Toxapex killed it with Toxic+Scald
Also, I alternated between healing and using the pointless Toxic so I wouldn't just be left with 10+ PP on Toxic and none on healing.

I feel like Unleashed was a transition to a degree, but overall the two formulas tend to have a very different feel when I play them.

They both have linear 3D setpiece chutes in places, but Boost is essentially dominated by 2D gameplay while Adventure is strictly 3D all the way though.

Hubworlds aren't really critical to the type of formula, but the rapid degradation of them from 3D exploration areas to glorified level select screens post-Unleashed is also pretty noticeable. The main carry-overs that managed to survive the purge have been the letter based scoring system with victory animation and small details like Eggman's '06 leitmotif surviving into Unleashed and Colors.
