Platform fighters, or whatever you want to call them have been around for a while. Around the same time as Smash, we had Power Stone as an accepted series.
Aside from PS and SSB, I feel the only really good ones were the Shonen Jump crossover titles on the DS. I'd really like Sony to have another go at it, and just make it so that the only real way to KO isn't just landing Supers. Oh, and to make a better roster. But I thought they did an okay job getting most of their essential characters from the PS2 era. Kratos, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, and Sly. They even had Parappa, Sir Dan and Heihachi, so I couldn't complain too much.
Sure. That could be cool too. But then again, just make a third Jump ____ Stars crossover game and add MHA content. I mean, it's popular enough to warrant 4 or 5 characters. I'd like to see some characters get further upgrades too. In those games, some characters would get drastic transformations. Goku, Luffy, Naruto ect. Since a lot of these series have ended or made a ton of progress, making a third entry adding new stuff, while updating/upgrading characters would be great.
Gohan should have his normal form as his starting point before going SS1 and SS2, maybe have Ultimate/Mystic Gohan as his last form. Goku and Vegeta could have their Blue forms as their last upgrades.
