I would say "spoiler that" but I think everyone has played the game and Atlus didnt exactly keep that a secret. They made it extreamly clear he was different in the promo stuff

I saw the discussion regarding Samus' PTSD in Other M...
The biggest problem is lack of context...newcomers to the series have absolutely no idea what's going on, and a lot of Metroid fans (who at the time have likely only had experience playing through the Prime games) haven't even read the manga (the game still doesn't do a good job following the manga anyways)...
If such an event were to occur in the game there needs to be an explanation in game why it happened...I also felt like the whole scene was just poorly executed to begin with...
That rich-looking guy we see at the beginning is likely the millionaire the trailer is referring to. Seems like a Titanic-like movie is playing, and when it stops, perhaps that's when the mystery unfolds.
Also, that one guy with the beret writing the letter at the end reminded me of Luke. Could this be the older Luke?

Honestly, I'm pretty sure that Goro's betrayal isn't meant to be a twist. I think the story's real twist is everything that happens following his betrayal. The Goro thing is honestly more of an anti-twist. A non-secret, I'd say.
Gameplay's fun at least. I didn't pay a **** if attention to the story of the game but the boss fights we're always a hell of a lot of fun. The lack of exploration kinda sucks though. I still enjoyed the game, I just hated the story.
Samus having PTSD isn't the problem, it's how it was handled in the game that was the problem...
People don't really understand that PTSD isn't something that those affected can just 'get over' so easily...even if they seemingly overcame their trauma, symptoms can still be triggered under certain circumstances even after a long while...
Not only that, but Ridley was believed to have been dead for good by Other M.
Then she suddenly sees him staring her in the face without any reason to expect the possibility.
It honestly doesn't matter how many times she's had to deal with him in the past, that sort of -WHAM!- would logically brick her at that point. :V
Don't know if this was discussed here already, but the Nintendo Switch Version 3.0 update brought several new updates. GameXplain made a video explaining them.
The one part the really made me happy about this update is that they added more character icons. YES! While the only new character icons are those from Splatoon 2 for now, it's clear that we are bound to receive more character icons from other games in the future, and I'm looking forward to that.
If it wasn't the last part's cliffhanger. I actually think the episode was kind of a flop... because most things were a bit too obvious.
Last part in a nutshell:
One the side note, which is none video game related... and I will not say much about ideals or politics...
I know I shouldn't b totally freak out when a Youtube channel made a slightly controversial Top 10.
Not gonna spoil tag this but in the video my country was in 5 spot (Whereas USA is on 4, for some reason. And yes, UK also made on to this list)
I'm here is not actually making rebuttal, but just to give out some more infos and even some clarification.
The video said Taiwan is similar to Palestine can't be simply taken out of context. Sure Palestine and Taiwan were both colonial territories to UK and Japan respectively before WWII. Unlike Palestine Taiwan was used to be a part of China before they gaveit to Japan in 1895. So not sure why they bring that up.
True it we were never really admitted as a country by other large countries due to PRC's "One China Policy" and their against to "Taiwan Independence". Keep in mind that the government that controls Taiwan is called Republic of China, the regime that holds most part of China from 1911 to 1949. To this day it still has Taiwan island and two island near the mainland.
Taiwan, or ROC to be exact was a member of UN. Hell, ROC was actually one of the founding members. It was until 1970s UN decided to give the admit that PRC as the legit representative of "China"... so that's why to this day some groups want Taiwan to "join" UN rather than "returning". We even held a stupid referendum over this issue since no matter it's "join" or "return", as long as PRC says no, it is no. We used to have the chance to attend some UN meeting such as WHA as an observing member under the name "Chinese Taipei". This year however due to our new government went cold with PRC, so they decided to shut out doors to any UN organizations...
There has been a debate whether Taiwan should be unified with China or being independent as a country called...well some say "Republic of Taiwan" or "Taiwan Nation"...
In around 7:48 it actually shows the "Taiwan Province Government" building that was relocated in 1998 after ROC's Taiwan Province government being decentralized. Province is kind of like a state to the US by the way, so now Taiwan is mostly handled by the central government which is in Taipei. This is what the real government building "Office of President of the Republic of China" looks like:
The video also mentioned only 24% of the population in Taiwan supports Taiwan Independence. The poll sometimes can be biased or manipulated into different circumstances, such as do you agree "Taiwan should be independent", "Unify with PRC", or "Stick to status quo". Some poll only give you first two choice... some also ask if "Taiwan's Independence will guarantee cause war do you still agree?"
All in all, despite the percentage of Taiwan being independent rises year by year... most people still agrees "Stick to the statue quo".
Our former President Chen was also mentioned in the video, more info is that he is now in prison due to many accuses on money washing. Some case were confirmed while others are still undergoing. It is sad how some individuals in his party still supports him and thinks he did nothing wrong just because he supports Taiwan Independence but never really did it...

Nice! I've been in a Splatoon mood lately, so the new icons definitely have my attention. Can't wait for when the game comes out next month. That being said, it would be pretty cool if they do Fire Emblem icons for to celebrate FEWarriors. Already know Opossum
would use a Chrom Icon if that happens.

If they add Takumi in Warriors, I would definitely love to see a Takumi icon for the Switch. That would definitely be my new character icon if that happens.
That implies he's even trying to persuade me and providing points. He hasn't done that at all! Well, he has persuaded me that he has an Orc fetish though.
