Delibird's tail is one of those details that makes so much sense yet still comes off as shocking when you figure it out. Still doesn't stop it from being a cool looking Pokémon though please improves its stats Game Freak.

Hey if any of you guys like platformers, then you should definitely invest in Mighty Gunvolt BURST on the Switch.

It's basically a Classic Megaman game (like, an actually good one) but with highly customization weapons. Both Beck and Gunvolt have their own weapon options so there's a lot of replay value in just messing around with it. For $10 it's basically a steal.

I knew that sack Delibird carries was its tail ever since I read its Pokedex entry, but I forgot which game referred to the sack as a tail. I think it was one of the gen 3 or gen 4 games.

I think I'm in the small camp that had the suspicion that Delibird's 'bag' was it's tail. I don't think there's ever been an instance where a Delibird was seen without it, but I didn't really think it was really so important.

That aside, I have now finished my Japanese online test, so I can officially enjoy my holidays without a worry!

Maybe that's part of it.

I saw the artwork long before the sprite (considering I had a guide book for Ruby and picked the Root Fossil anyway), and it's much easier to tell in the art. That may have swayed me a bit, looking back on it.

Now Kabuto. Kabuto threw me off as a kid, simply because its actual eyes were so beady I didn't even notice them.

I've always saw anorith as its eyes on the side of its head, but the fact that Cradily's eyes are in its "mouth," that's actually really cool...

This whole thing reminds me of when I was a kid and found out the white things on Killer Whales aren't their eyes

I didn't mind the idea of doing a timeskip. I thought it had potential. That being said, they definitely didn't add enough to compensate. Basically, for one thing, I thought the idea of not bringing some of the female Vets due to their new age was very dumb. I'm more than positive that Taki could still kick *** in her 50s. Then there's a lack of Zasalamel, Talim(who at 35 could've still fit in), Bangoo and a Korean character connected to Hwang, Yun-seung and Seung-Mina.
Than the 3 mimics....Elysium as an Avatar to Soulcalibur as Inferno was to Soul Edge was fine, but making Kilik a mimic character was not. I wouldn't have minded Elysium and Edge Master as the only mimics, but if you wanted a 3rd Mimic character, you could've done Inferno rather than Kilik.
But like I said, I blame Namco. The development team was planning to add in Bangoo and Cassandra(supposedly with a new Longsword style) as well as make the Story Mode much more diverse than just Patroklos and Pyrrha. But Namco made the stupid decision to advance Soulcalibur 5's release date rather than delay it when they didn't want it to clash with Street Fighter X Tekken and as such, the game, the series, the development team(where the main guys got fired and we got a new director who decided Lost Swords was a good idea and has a fetish for Alexandra girls) and the fans suffered greatly for it.

Funnily this isn't the first time a fighting game, let alone a Namco fighting game had replaced a majority of it's main cast. Things like that are why Street Fighter 3 wasn't as popular as SF2. Though it did take a while for the mechanics to reach Third Strike levels, so that also played a part.

Tekken 3 did something similar, There was a major time skip. Where characters like Baek, Kazuya/Jun, Marshall and Michelle were replaced by Hwoarang, Julia, Forest and Jin. Heihachi and Paul got a lot older. And there's brand new faces like Eddy, Xiaoyu and Bryan. Only Nina, Anna and Lei Wulong(who all ended up looking younger in later games) remained pretty similar to before. Technically there's King II, but you wouldn't be able to tell he's a different dude if you didn't know the lore or whatever.

Despite this Tekken 3 was the most popular in the series. Of course, by Tekken 5, many of the old cast was brought back, and made a lot cooler, like Kazuya and Bruce.

Only time will tell if the MKX cast will stay relevant to the fans. Oh, and yeah, I didn't particularly like SCV's new kids as much.

Hey if any of you guys like platformers, then you should definitely invest in Mighty Gunvolt BURST on the Switch.

It's basically a Classic Megaman game (like, an actually good one) but with highly customization weapons. Both Beck and Gunvolt have their own weapon options so there's a lot of replay value in just messing around with it. For $10 it's basically a steal.

I'd consider it. Maybe after I'm done doing a second run through a couple of the Classic Mega Man games.

Oh yeah, Wonder Woman, watched it today
It was great, just the ending who felt really cheesy and... mostly bad but the rest was all good. It was like the first Captain America... except actually good and not a complete piece of garbage.

Fight scenes are the best I have seen in a LONG time in a movie: no shaky cam and cohesive coreography. Slow motion shots still bug me but they were minimal.
Oh hey, King Arthur's action scenes were the EXACT opposite of this, funny, eh?

It's a classic story of a damn good man going from zero to hero. A point of hope in a time where much of the world was without it. If you'd actually expand on your points (in particular the "70% propaganda" nonsense) I could elaborate further.

Steve's growth felt very artificial, alongside him just being a really stupid character to begin with(because you have to be if you deliberately want to go to war like that).
Then nothing happens in the movie after he gets his powerup and it's all him serving as poster boy for the army, which could be cool on paper to explore war propaganda(*cough*Izetta*cough) has no place in a movie with limited runtime.
Then action happens, Bucky "dies", Red Skull dies, Steve "dies" and bam, end fin and over.

There wasn't really anything in that movie other than setup and it's not a problem exclusive to it in the MCU.
I mean, we all watched Thor, right?

Also, Wonder Woman suuuuuuuuucked.... In my opinion... It's not due to anything political.

It just felt pretty inauthentic. A lot of it just due to how Wonder Woman and her origins clash A LOT with the time period of WW1 and its tone.


I mean, that's not the only problem with the movie of course, but still. It reminds me of something like ultimate battle simulator where you see a ton of WW2 soldiers fighting Spartans, the kind of spoof movies where Hitler is in the center of the earth riding a T. Rex, or a Japanese figure of Obama wielding a samurai sword.

I thought Captain America First Avenger was fine. Not ground breaking or amazing, but not necessarily garbage either.

Is the main character a mary sue? Probably. But I still enjoyed the supporting cast, and I personally enjoy origin stories. Also, the camera work was really solid throughout the film. It made me feel immersed due to the excellent camera work, even though the movie's not one of my personal favorites.

Wanting to fight for your country is stupid huh? Hmm.

I don't really think it's a rising from zero to hero status as it is Steve trying to find his place in the world. He's always wanted to be a manly man who goes off and becomes a hero when he gets home from war. But even when he gets all that he's thrown into a Broadway type show and feels like he isn't fulfilling his purpose in the world. That he's not actually helping anyone. So he disobeys a direct order goes into enemy territory and then becomes the hero he always wanted to be. Little does he know that being a hero also comes with making sacrifices. He first learns this with Bucky and he knows that by the end of the movie he'll have to make his ultimate sacrifice. His naivete vanishes when he realizes what he has to do. His hopes of becoming a home town hero, his hopes of falling in love, having a family, etc. are thrown out the window in the moments before his 'death'. He realizes that being a hero isn't always about doing the right thing per se it's more about what you did to make things right. Noticing the end of the movie his culture shock and his reaction to losing everyone and yet still being alive you can tell that he is deeply effected. His sacrifice, to him, seems pointless. He thinks that everyone he knows and loves is dead when it should have been him first.

You can not like the movie if you want but if you're going in and only paying attention to the 'action' scenes and the other scenes that throw exposition into your face and not the other underlying messages then you're not really going to feel any sort of importance. Steve may be a bit of a square in more recent movies but in The First Avenger and Winter Soldier he had a fantastic character arc. That's just my opinion, I suppose. If you saw a movie and thought it was trying to say what you thought it was trying to say then that's all you. I'm going to think it said what I though it was trying to say.
