I never owned this game, at the time, the "SF style fighting game" didn't appeal to me. Kinda funny considering I got into traditional fighters not long after.

And boi you're not the only one with Guilty Gear/Mahvel experience. :yeahboi:

Don't worry, my crappy skill in Marvel 1 and Marvel 3 will help me take down anyone. I know Gohan's gonna be a main of mine, no doubt. I wonder if we'll have Ultimate Gohan too, he usually plays very differently in most games, Extreme Butoden is a good example of that.

I mean I played Marvel at a con once. And uh... watched some of Maximillian Dood before I realized I could do much better with other, better FGC players. Does that count?

I guess out of desperation for some new iteration of Berserk that they cling to the awful one and go by the awful "Better than nothing" argument?
Because the world makes no sense anymore.

I can't stop watching the Dragonball Fighter Z trailer. It's so ****ing beautiful. There has never been a DBZ game that actually looked that close to the show before. Every DBZ game before this was just a fanservice party brawler. Sure they were fun games, but none of them were amazing fighters with a wealth of depth to dig into nor did they ever really feel like the anime. The Tenkaichi series can brag all it wants about +140 characters, but so much of that roster was just cut and paste throw aways. ASW came in and answered my prayers and even went beyond them! Man, I sure hope this becomes a long running series rather than something that gets dropped after an installment or two.

Another interesting thing about Super DBZ is that it takes its designs and especially the color schemes from the Manga rather than the anime like most other Dragon Ball games do.

Well, at the very least, Budokai 3 and Infinite world did have some cool tech for the kind of games that they are. Namely with transformation cancelling. Starting a combo with Goku for example was really crazy since he had so many at once.

From a strictly visual standpoint, DBFZ is definitely one of the best. The first Raging Blast also had a nice visual style to it. The 2nd one was too plastic-y.

Forza, Crackdown 3, Assassin's Creed Egypt edition, Ori 2, Cuphead release date, and some Lucky's tale game.

Most importantly a DRAGON BALL Z FIGHTING GAME BY THE GUILTY GEAR TEAM!
