Also, are the different versions locked into day and night permanently? Or is real time lighting the post game reward? Beacue this'll make getting a Lucario impossible in Moon otherwise.

My gut tells me that Aether wants to protect Pokemon but, at least that ultra suspicious scientist guy who's too cool to wear a lab coat that's easy to wash, will be in some kind of scheme to destroy the Alolan way of life. Team Skull may not look like the kind to hijack the Legendary Pokemon this week but they do.

The shapes of its front and hind legs are clearly different. The reason is that Type: Null was constructed to synthesize the strengths of various Pokémon, enabling it to adapt to any situation.

The mask fitted to Type: Null’s head is a piece of equipment designed to control its latent powers. It’s extremely heavy, so it also serves to hinder Type: Null’s agility.

To complete a certain mission, there was need of a Pokémon powerful enough to rival those Pokémon often spoken of in mythology.

Alolan Rattata’s form changed as a result of their battle for territory with Yungoos.

Unlike ordinary Rattata, urban areas are Alolan Rattata’s main habitat. They are nocturnal and live in nests of several dozen. Alolan Raticate serve as their bosses.

As a countermeasure to the exploding Rattata population in the Alola region, Yungoos were imported and released. To better avoid Yungoos, Rattata changed their preferred environments and circadian rhythms. These adaptations to their new environment led to a changed form.

Alolan Rattata have an excellent capacity for sniffing out delicious fresh foods in Alola. They pay no attention to foods that aren’t fresh.

Raticate

Because urban areas are their main habitat, their diet is higher in calories than ordinary Raticate. As a result, they have become hefty.

Alolan Raticate prefers to eat only fresh fruits and high-class ingredients. There are rumors that a certain top-notch restaurant takes advantage of Alolan Raticate’s taste buds by bringing it along when choosing ingredients to buy, and having it taste test new dishes.

Alolan Raticate continually stockpile huge amounts of food in their nests. They mostly prefer to send out Alolan Rattata to gather food while they themselves stay home in their nests and just eat.

Alolan Raticate is the Totem Pokémon of the trial that takes place in Verdant Cavern on Melemele Island in Pokémon Moon.* It summons Rattata to help it confront those who take on the trial.

I looked at the Japanese trailer and it seems time does pass in both games, Moon is just set 12 hours ahead. It'll be like my play through of Crystal when I was too young to know how the difference between am and pm.

As weird as it may sound, their organization comes off too much like Gill in SF3 tbh.

1) Interesting that the two versions will have the trials be seperate things.... when Gumshoos and Fatticate are almost certainly not region exclusive.
2) Fatticate looks stupid.
3) Type: Null is a dumb name. I really can't care for it.

Looking at Aether's grunts, the costume design really reminds me of the characters from Mega Man Zero and Mega Man ZX. I think it's the body suits and large shoes that are doing it.

I meant it in an ironic sense but I didn't get that across. I think they're good ideas for the games, it'd just a little odd as the games and anime, outside of yellow, never share ideas. Hell Gen 5 was full of anime friendly concepts including a storyline and fusion pokemon but the anime didn't touch them.

Moon: AM is PM; PM is AM
Moon is basically just going to take what time it is, flip it to the other "half" of the day, and proceed as normal.

I think Type: Null has another form without it's mask that's more powerful

How it works is that Sun works as normal and Moon works as if you're a dumb-dumb who didn't know how the 24 hour clock worked when setting up the 3DS.
Yeah, like Banjo at the beginning of Nuts and Bolts.
What's really weird is they're not classified as Pokemon on the website. Even the artifical Null counts but these beasts don't.
