The planet was stated to be in shambles at Chapter 2 already, then there was the Reapers being constantly busy, and that was BEFORE the war over the wish started, the crazy environmentalist, the aliens ripping apart the planet, your own side getting possessed and going on a killing spree. . .a huge chunk of the enemies in the game are made from SEVERAL dead people. At one point you see MASSIVE swarms of them in the background.

And Uprising wasn't even entirely a reboot as it is set after the first game and references it quite a bit.

Sakurai makes a great game, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it as an example of how he could fix society LOL.

I don't understand why politics always disgust people so much to the point of being so uncomfortable. If anythng the only people that annoy me while discussing politics with other people is people on the side line getting so uncomfortable for whatever reason. Otherwise I don't see the problem with discussing it.

Especially in this case it's more history rather than modern politics, which I absolutely love to talk about and wish I could talk more about it.

Also, it's funny how regardless of what's being talked about someone on the side always has to whine about it. I just wish that people could just talk, to be honest, especially when things are civil.

But apparently the biggest reason Galilieo was jailed was actually because he couldn't prove heliocentrism 100% as he couldn't answer the biggest question against heliocentrism.

At the same time, this presents a problem. Heliocentricism was actually an old idea, one the church had little problem with before. Perhaps that's where my professor made the comment about the political things.

Opposing views and confliction are actually pretty healthy. Because if you do the research that comes along with it you can learn quite a lot. Often reforming your own opinion. Though the people I decide to talk to every day are extremes of either side of the political binary spectrum, and while they never learn anything, I at least get to know a bit more. That's why I don't define myself under any specific political term or side, that makes other people judge me without knowing much about my views and also I feel like that limits my views.

Yeah, though I use region as a general term, but those two did have specific regions. With Greece I'm thinking of how different each major city was with its politics. Athens was very different from Sparta, as a common example.

I'm curious to see how things will develop to the surviving characters in Stay Night

Kiritsugu trying to destroy the Grail after realizing what it really does but triggering Kotomine's "wish" in the process. I'm confused as to whether that really was Kotomine's wish or just a side effect of trying to destroy it

Kotomine survives... somehow. I guess he a zombie now, and so is Archer
****ing Archer, killed the best character why did he have to survive? Also, fanservice, yay I guess. I mean, he IS a big ****

The Kariya plot has suffering as its payoff. Well, I came into this series knowing it was all about that suffering but still, that was just too much for me. Sakura got completely brainwashed so my bet is that she is going to be an antagonist in SN. Berserker didn't hate Saber, he actually respected her, I guess that would be her new motivation to getting the Grail in SN.

Speaking of Saber, poor girl had to not only watch as the Grail was destroyed but was also forced to do it herself. She didn't fully know about it, but **** man, she thought it was the one thing that could save her kingdom.
Dunno how she died though, I guess Grail blood fell on her off-screen or smth?

Oh ****, Kotomine gave that dagger to Rin, this is not okay
I'm betting on a serious RinXSakura confrontation in SN, the tears estimate is off the charts

Every scene with Waver just makes me feel bad because I remember on how him and Rider were the ones who got the closest. Most of the other Servants and Masters were either indifferent towards each other or just outright hated them(with the only exceptions being Caster and that-guy-I-forgot-the-name and Kotomine and Archer, though that as mostly just entertainment for Archer), but the two really grew as friends.

So, conclusions
"Kiritusgu is a ****" counter: 20
"Kotomine is a ****" counter: as many bullets to the face he survived, how is this even possible?
"Archer is a ****" counter: the amount of tears I cried when Rider died
Final score: 0/10 killed Rider what's even the ****ing point

Yeah, that's very true. THat also goes for monks in various other cultures. Since literacy wasn't common they were one of the few in the population that knew how to write. What I was thinking along the lines of was that the thoughts they wrote weren't strictly conservitive, as they wrote a variety of ideas.
