Well with the rumors of the NX being a hybrid/handheld, I may as well bring back up my idea for Badges. It's never happening, but hey, at least I have my weird fantasies.

Basically Badges would merge the various Badge concepts Nintendo has floating around already, serving as both an equivalent to Trophies/Achievements as they are in Animal Crossing and Pokemon and as a menu decoration as on the 3DS with Badge Arcade.

You could do something notable in one of your NX games, and it'll give you a Badge that you can put on your NX menu or look at in your Badge collection book.

Then there would also be "Premium" Badges and/or "Arcade Exclusive" Badges that would have to be paid money for in the Eshop or earned in the Badge Arcade instead.

And then there would also be the option to trade Badges either with local multiplayer or with other people on your Friend List.

I would also imagine in this scenario that Badges would be more smoothly integrated into the system than with Badge Arcade. The Badge collection book would be selectable directly or nearly directly from the system menu and Badge function would be there from the start.

see i had the idea of making a card game where you get a card for each achivement and they could be played in a game thats a mix of triple triad and yugioh

Nintendo's way overdue for a Trophy system and every other game just includes them in their own games anyway (Hyrule Warriors and Xenoblade X also have them).

If they mixed this with badges it'd be a cool way for them to be a little more than just bragging rights.

I'm pretty sure you meant, "The spiritual pressure rises".

If the guy is a trustworthy source, then I'm definitely curious about how things would end given the damage done to all worlds by Yhwach. It could be something tragic or some Deus Ex Machina can save everyone from dying. At least I won't have to wait long to see all of this (Hopefully there is no Ichigo x Anyone just to troll the shippers).

Adventure Sonic gameplay in '17 would make me do things I can't say here because it's a PG environment.

Well, if the rumors were true, there was supposed to be a Dreamcast Sonic in Generations (voiced by Ryan Drummond nonetheless), but was scrapped. We could see that in this game.

I don't see Boom Sonic happening for two reasons. One, that would be a big enough bombshell to show in the first trailer. Two, Sonic Team don't seem to be fond of Boom very much.

Though personally, I would be fine (and prefer) if we had just the two Sonics and some other playable characters.

Agreed, we really don't need more Sonics after 10 straight years of just the blue hedgehog, especially when we have other characters with different abilities and playstyles. I hope that Classic Sonic is bringing other Classic characters for this resistance.

Yeah, I know. I agree. It just seems a little unintuitive to have Classic in the game and him not have anything special about him whatsoever.
