Copycat is in no way a tanking skill(the name is Replicate actually), it gives you more offensive power but since the copy shares current HP with the original it means you can be attacked way more than normally
And anyone with access to Ninja or Apotechary can get it, it's nothing special(Kaze, Saizo, Kagero, Midori, Asuhi, Shura and anyone with those classes as their secondaries)
Counter is the one tanking skill she gets at her base classes

No, they're not, 20% HP and 25% Str personal growths are terrible

There are characters that would take better advantage of those items such as Sakura and Azura for the Angelic Robes and any other physical offensive unit

The three examples I mentioned are all avaible in Birthright
Silas and Jakob are shared between versions and Scarlet is BR exclusive
They're also all more mobile, strong and durable, they completely outclass her on everything but maybe Res(which isn't as useful when you don't have many magic enemies)

That's not an excuse, especially if you see how badly unbalaced Revelation is, just because there is grinding doesn't mean they can have bad bases
Rinkah has bad growths on top of her bad bases
And the grinding just speeds things up or allow the abuse of Eternal Seals, Conquest's characters can reach 20/20 easily with no grinding

Feeding her stat boosters, giving her a special class seal, using various Heart Seals on her and leveling her to the point she almost doesn't get any experience IS favoritism
Any other BR unit would turn out way better than her with all this treatment
It's not like you should do that because certain characters take advantage of those items better(Azama and Kaze are the prime candidates for the Dread Scrolls in Birthright, as I said before, Azura and Sakura make good use of Angelic Robes and Jakob 1, Corrin, Kaze, Saizo and Hinoka all make vetter use of the Heart Seals)

First impressions in FE are a character's bases, if they don't have good bases, they need growths to make up for it(like the Est archetypes), Rinkah doesn't have neither and numbers don't lie

Being your first experience with FE isn't a good argument since your first experience is with the easiest game in the franchise
I could throw units in the middle of a bunch of enemies in Awakening Normal like it was nothing but that doesn't mean they're good

Beruka and Arthurs says hi

It's broken in multiplayer because of the 5 unit limit, it's a double-edged blade in the main campaign

That's what we call a pair-up bot

You're playing a game where you get 3 Samurais and 3 Ninjas, don't come with this "no one else can dodge" bull****
Also, she takes hits just as good as Hinata does
Yeah, your copy shares HP, including healing. If you keep the copy near a healer and away from enemies, you can easily tank everything with the original. It definitely has a use for tanking, that's part of why it's broken.

Her HP and Strength growths are easily fixable, especially her Strength because of her Personal and all of the other skills you can get for her that buff her Strength.

Sakura and Azura have terrible defense so it's more difficult to have them fight enemies in order to level up and reclass them and get what skills you might need. Sakura died in Chapter 6 and I never looked back, and Azura, while useful at times, has caused me more trouble than anything because the A.I has a vendetta against her.

You're making what I've done with Rinkah sound way more intensive than it actually is. I didn't go out of my way to grind levels for her, she just is that strong naturally, with only one item buff to each stat except magic (honestly she was a better Ninja/Master Ninja than Kaze, who barely did any damage and couldn't take a hit even though I did more training for him than Rinkah). Heart Seals And Master Seals are given out like candy. And the Dread Scroll was a free bonus I got for owning all three versions of the game, and the class makes perfect sense for her because she already naturally builds experience in the weapons it uses. None of this required going out of my way.

And once again, Conquest characters don't matter because I'm playing Birthright.

The only other character I can get to dodge consistently without grinding is Ryoma, and even then he has more weapon weaknesses than Rinkah seems to have. His defense isn't great and the only times he can tank is if he can easily dodge or if he has the weapon advantage.

Also once again, this being the easiest FE game is irrelevant. It's still the game I'm playing, and Rinkah can only face enemies from this game. Again, it's like comparing Brawl characters to Melee characters. Yes, Melee Fox would beat Brawl Falco but it doesn't matter since they can never interact and I can't use Melee Fox in Brawl.

Numbers don't lie, but neither do the numbers from skills.

I can't believe I've saying this, but I feel that Nefarious is as great of a villain as Dr. Ivo Robotnik. They are both crazy in their own ways while being the silly scientists we know and love. You've really got to hand it to Lawrence for having to put up with him as his robot butler.

Daily reminders:

Nintendo's E3 doesn't look so bright this year.
Mighty No.9 is trash.
There's still a chance that Donald Trump might get elected as president in the end of the year after all. Because you never know, right?

I hope y'all have something bright enough in your lives to cheer you up in these dark times.

Given that Sony will show off its VR and there are similar rumours about Microsoft showing its own VR, NX would have had seriously tough competition.

Don't worry, I understand if you don't want.
Tough, like I said, it isn't like the character of FNAF in something different. No, it's like new character in a new story that is like a "parody" of FNAF. So really, say to me you are interest one day. ;)
Thank you kindly. :) I shall do my best to remember to ask, haha. XD
And ah, you mean like that. ^^ Then I see I understand. I do like Fnaf parodies.

Like One Night at Flumpty's. Also a amazing game.

This game is wooooonderful. (The first and the second even more!)
Too bad we never get a 3.
By the way, my FNAF parodie is called "The Five Night's of Jack", in case you want to know.

Yeah, seems E3 this year will be more hardware heavy than usual. So the decision to hold off on the NX was the right choice.

When they actually reveal it, all eyes will be on them.

Also, just out of curiosity for you guys here... are there any Five Nights at Freddy's fans here? I have become a huge fan of the franchise and it's lore, but everywhere nowdays I just see hate for the franchise.
I'd consider myself a FNaF fan. I got into the franchise around the time the 3rd game came out. I've played 1-4, and read the book. I bought FNaF World when it came out, but I have yet to play it. Hoping to try it out before Sister Location releases. I'm pretty excited for SL myself. I actually enjoy seeing what Scott can do with this franchise every time another game is announced, so it doesn't bother me that he keeps releasing new ones like it does others for whatever reason.

Also at some point in the future I'm hoping to collect the four main plushies that released recently so I can put them next to my bed frame and they can watch over me as I sleep and keep me safe. :b:

That's funny, because Elwood consistently got great luck in my most recent run.
Same here, my Eliwood was one of my best units in my recent playthrough. I could use him for any role and he'd be great for it, and it always surprised me how he managed to get so blessed in that regard.

Must've been my daily sacrifices of money to the great Anna.

Agreed. ^^ Such a unique take on the FNAF format. It's such a shame that he, yeah, cancelled Flumpty 3. I understand why he did it, but it's still such a shame.
Oh, and that name, hah, I hope it is about Jackcepticeye. XD

Ah, impressive. XD I actually forgot there was a book, and I had no idea there are official Plushies. If they release here, I might just get them.

And yeah, can't wait for Sister Location as well. ^^ I am sure this one will evolve a fair bit, so I can't wait to see some actual gameplay. He apparantly really want to scare us again, so, shall be interesting. I really hope that Puppet Bonnie is an enemy as well. I wanna see it tear itself off Funtime Freddy and creepily crawl along the floor towards you. XD

What's your favorite animatronic, btw? c:

Nope, it's not about Jackcepticeye. (Tough I like this guy)
It's really original character in a original-parody story of FNAF.

Yup. And then there's the possible upgraded systems or whatever if those are going to be there.

Funny thing is, as much of a spectacle as VR is going to be, society has basically been waiting multiple decades for this moment, so it's not really a new thing and as neat as it sounds I'm not as impressed as I probably should be.

And all the VR games are probably gonna suck for a couple years while developers figure out the tech.

. . .You know what would be neat, though? VR sunglasses. Lightweight, compact, cool looking. You'd see around the edges, but eh it'd have less materials to it so it might be cheaper. Obviously this kind of tech isn't doable yet for one reason or another, but I had the idea and it sounds interesting enough.

Yeah, I only expect simple games like Wii Sports was for motion controls.

It will be a while before companies can figure out how to give a really impressive VR experience.

I've always found VR kinda unsettling for some reason. Also really love the hypocrisy by some people that despise gimmicks in games but are hyped for VR,

Haha, I was just joking, I just found it funny you said it was called 'Jack' when at the same time, I checked to see if JSE had made any updates. ^^ But thank you for the info. I will, of course, ask when I feel I have time and is clear enough in my head. c: Thank you.

I'm joking, but if I do something major and include my eye thing

People will probably think I'm ripping off Jack

(Although in Spore, I gave my eye creature a joke alternate Green color)

LOL, Blizzard is trying to stop internet porn parodies of Overwatch.

NOTHING ever gets deleted off the Internet.
Reminded me of when Nintendo bought that Super Mario porno so it would never see the light of day again.

How do they think they can succeed where Nintendo and Disney have failed.

What's a "Google Glass?"

VR intrigues me.

But not enough to spend $400-$1000 for it.

Doesn't help how there's very little ways to take a test run on it.

I think VR gaming is getting overhyped and won't live up to expectations at all.
I would assume so. It's going to be a fine way to increase immersion, but it's going to be completely wasted by a flood of devs who make awful games and then assume they'll sell just because they use VR.

At any rate, I would actually be more excited if people started making tactile equipment. It goes hand in hand with VR and involves a sense into the experience who's last major innovation on consoles was shaking controllers. (*EDIT* Well I suppose motion controls count too and debuted later, but shaking controllers was the last direct predecessor) I hope someone talks about bringing THAT to consoles.

The fact that tactile equipment isn't so demanded and hyped might mean they'd try a little harder with it, too. Maybe. Hopefully.

So.. a more advanced version of Google Glass?

:231:
I guess, but of a thicker variety more like 3D glasses and made of plastic instead, with a sleeker design. The screens would also be embedded directly into the lenses.

Also I would assume any motion controls mapped to it wouldn't make you navigate menus via blinking/nodding your head or whatever the way I thought I saw the media joking about when this was announced.

I don't see VR taking off, at least not yet. I don't think it's refined enough and it needs more quality to show for it otherwise I'm not looking forward to the circlejerk it'll get at E3.

I'm honestly not sure which is my favorite, but I guess if I had to choose I'd pick Freddy himself. Despite probably being the most uninteresting character in the series since the focus is typically put on other animatronics, he spooked me quite a bit in the first FNaF game. Gave me my first real unexpected jump scare, so I guess that left a lasting impression on me.

Ah, so, Freddy is at least close to the top for ya? ^^ Understandable. I actually think he is usually pretty interesting. I do love his super unexpected scares in FNAF 1, agreed. You're so used to having to either put cam down, or watch Foxy run, to get killed. But then Freddy laughs at you and just pops into your face. I love how Freddy actually seems like some sort of Boss in the first game. He just stands there, and then, near the end, he creeps around, hiding almost impossible to see. His freaky stare into the cam to the right of the room is spooky.

I really hope Funtime Freddy, in the end, turns out to be sorta the 'main bad guy' in Sister Location. For being the name of the franchise, he did not really have much of a role in 2 and 3, and he was so easy to avoid in 4.

VR won't be mainstream any time soon.

If it ever is, it will be much later when it becomes less expensive and actually has games, because all I'm seeing right now is just tech demos that are barely interesting. And it's going to get overhyped at E3 for no reason lol, so most of the time spent in the conferences will be just people talking about PSVR and whatever Microsoft has for Xbox.

I think VR has plenty of rich potential.

I just hope that said potential actually gets unleashed.
_________

I'm gonna keep my expectations for Sister Location low, although I will say that the trailer looks promising...

FNaF2 and 3 were both very flawed in my opinion. They had some good ideas, but the games just didn't turn out as nearly as good as they could have.

The 4th game is my personal favorite since the very first entry.

The problem with VR is that it's basically redundant.

I just can't see what it can do that a normal screen can do better.

Since there are two different discussions going on right now between VR and FNaF, would any of you actually play a VR FNaF experience? I feel like that would be extremely terrifying. I'd try it though. Sometimes I enjoy trying to scare myself since I don't typically scare too easily.
